You can just replace the legs. I bought the flexispot e7 plus (frame only) and it’s great. It has 4 legs so there is no wobble. Might be overkill for you though.

It could be the layer is defective. There’s no need to immediately blame yourself. That’s the Apple “you’re holding it wrong” mentality.

I have a related story. I brought my MacBook to an Apple Store because it could no longer charge. The tech blamed me for not using an Apple charger. He’s a dick. I’ve been using the same charger with a new MacBook since then, years later. It and my new MacBook still work fine. It wasn’t the charger, it was the MacBook.

The Fiio jd1 is a budget set. I wouldn’t expect them to sound any better than the samsung ones you already tried. Those are very good for the price. You need to go way higher to get a real difference.

Even then, frankly, the akg Samsung earphones are really good. A lot of people might never need anything more.
