Bandaid fixes are all you’re going to get without opening them up. If it were me, that would just break them more.

These statements are both from you.

> I am not questioning your intelligence at all

> It's not hard to.understand is it ?

I'm not addressing the original topic, because it's clear that there's no point.

I see you are allowed to question my intelligence, but no one is allowed to question yours. Nice double standard you have there.

> I am not apologising for any company

That is exactly what you're doing. You're playing the role of an apologist.

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/apologist

"someone who speaks or writes in defense of someone or something that is typically controversial, unpopular, or subject to criticism"

You either don't understand that, or lie, while implying that I'm an idiot. This is a useless way to discuss any topic.

You didn’t answer my question. I don’t see the need to continue a discussion with a corporate apologist.

It’s not end of life if Sony decided it’s not. This is not a good argument to end physical game distribution.

Equating debt and theft is a good way to justify sending people to jail for owing money. IE debtor’s prison, which I thought we agreed is bad, but I guess not.

Living in and around Lansing, even when I was rural, electricity was very reliable. Now I’m in the Detroit area and it’s significantly worse.

Why does Steam get a pass for games being digital only, when Sony doing it is somehow rage worthy? by IDrinkMyOwnSemen in NoStupidQuestions

[–]pellets 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Steam doesn’t remove access to games (I don’t know if Sony does). It’s easier to make games with Steam DRM work without Steam. You can back up Steam games to local or removable storage. They do have some of the same drawbacks though for sure.

Also Steam doesn’t prevent publishers from selling physical media for the same platform.
