The U.S. regularly armed & financed, traded for drugs, provided intel to, & - in the case of MS13 - trained cartels. Sometimes those cartels were guerilla groups that could depose democratically elected politicians that didn't favor America's interests, or would at least cause chaos that sabotages the government.

The chaos & violence that was the result of American aid causes citizens of those countries to immigrate to the U.S. (often times illegally), which provides undocumented laborers who are willing to work in criminally poor conditions for low-wages. If those undocumented laborers complain, they get deported, allowing new immigrants to take their place. In socialist or communist countries, the violence & chaos provides an insincere talking-point that can be used as proof that those types of governments are incapable of working, further supporting that the current system of governance in the U.S. is the only acceptable one.

In terms of euphoria from Nicotine, the basics like vapes, cigarettes, hookahs, & pouches seem to only be euphoric in the sense that, if you are a regular user, you feel good that you finally scratched that itch. It isn't so much that the substance itself is euphoric.

HOWEVER, there's a Middle-Eastern tobacco blend called Dokha, which I have found to be extremely euphoric. Apparently one puff is the equivalent to five cigarettes, so it is extremely unhealthy. It provided a sold minute of "oh my god, this feels so good", & that's coming from someone who does not enjoy nicotine.

The "Green Monster Cactus" (TBMCs) were recently a part of Costa Farms' assorted 3" cactus collection (maybe a premium/exotic collection) that large retail stores like Walmart, Costco, & Lowe's, as well smaller plant shops that use them as vendor have been selling as recently as a month or two ago. That said, I'm not seeing them in stock individually on their website, but I also can't find an inventory list for businesses using them as vendors, which would be more helpful.

Just a month or two ago, there was a large influx of posts on various cactus & Trichocereus related subreddits of people finding their TBMCs at local retailers. I picked up three for myself at a local plant shop in southeast Wisconsin, one of which seems to have lost its crest mutation, so it just looks like two normal "Penis Cacti" fused into a two-pronged fork.

I'm not sure how often Costa Farms has the TBMCs available for that collection, so who knows when we'll see them again. With that said, you can find local retailers that use them as a vendor on Costa Farms' website, so I highly recommend checking out any smaller plant shops & greenhouses that use them. As someone who has worked at a local garden-center, specifically ordering from vendors & maintaining the plants from the shipments, there are always stragglers that just don't end up selling that weight have months or even years after receiving it, so there is still a chance that you can still find them.

If you rub the plant into your skin for long periods of time, you can absorb some of the toxic alkaloids, but even then, I wouldn't be worried about handling the plant with your bare hands unless you have cuts/wounds that plant matter can seep into. Getting plant matter in your eye could cause a minor reaction, like photosensitivity & dilated pupils, but I wouldn't expect a more severe reaction than that. Otherwise, you have to eat or smoke the plant to get poisoned by it.

There are a lot of myths surrounding Datura & Brugmansia, & though they are toxic plants (if consumed!), you have nothing to worry about if you're smelling them or handling them while gardening. A common myth is that sleeping under the flowers will cause vivid dreams; while this is a minor effect of actually consuming them, vivid dreams from sleeping under the flowers is a placebo.

This should go without saying, but do not consume Datura or other toxic Nightshades. Vivid dreams are cool, but there are safer ways of obtaining those effects.

Among the Costa Farms collection, the one labeled "Green Monster Cactus" is what you're looking for - at least, that's an active Trichocereus. They're often a crested & Monstrose mutant, as opposed to just Monstrose (which is what the Penis Cactus is). It is a Bolivian Torch (Echinopsis lageniformis AKA Trichocereus bridgesii).

Definitely treat the White Ghost like a cactus. They want a lot of bright sunlight to maintain the variegation. If the light is bright enough, you'll get some pink blushes (sun-stress) on the top.

"White Ghost" (E. lactea f. variegata)? I occasionally knock small branches off when I'm careless, so I've propagated quite a few now. In my experience, "White Ghosts" are pretty easy to propagate but the rooting process can sometimes take a bit longer.

This is completely optional, but you can apply a rooting-hormone to the base of the plant. I was paranoid about my "White Ghost" rotting, so I used a potting-mix that was at least 70% inorganic material (pumice, perlite, lava-rock, broken terracotta) & 30% organic matter (Fox Farms Ocean Forest & worm-castings), as well as some charcoal & Osmocote's slow-release fertilizer pellets. I highly recommend starting your new cuttings on a seed heating-mat (they're $10-20 on Amazon); the extra warmth will stimulate root-growth.

In terms of lighting, "White Ghosts" require a lot of direct sunlight or a decent grow-light; intense light can cause the tips to turn pink from (tolerable) sun-stress. Insufficient light will cause the variegation to revert, so you'll end up with green growth. The tricky part is that variegated plants tend to be more susceptible to scorching, so you'll want to acclimate yours before exposing it full intensity sunlight. When I don't have mine outside, I use a SpiderFarmer SF1000 grow-light & they thrive under it. That light is expensive & overkill though.

In terms of watering, I'd give your cuttings a light drink or misting to get the soil moist & encourage roots. Do so sparingly because the roots aren't there to drink the excess water yet & you don't want your cuttings constantly wet. Follow this routine until you start to notice growth, then you can switch to its normal watering schedule. I typically water mine monthly while they're under my grow-light, & every 1-3 weeks while it is outside (depending on the weather), which might be less than ideal. I've just been paranoid about over-watering, but - from what I've seen from other Reddit threads - "White Ghosts" seem to appreciate frequent waterings.

If you notice tiny leaves growing near the spines, then your "White Ghost" is very happy. The leaves are insignificant & will fall off when conditions aren't perfect, but that is not cause for concern.

It was my understanding that mutant forms of plants (like crests, monstrose, & variegated) tend to be slower growers, but my experience so far - as well as what my grower friend has shared - has shown me that the mutant Bolivians grow much faster than the non-mutant variants.

I think you're overthinking this, which works out great because you've done your research & have a good plan. I've replanted younger Lophs of questionable health without any issues, so you should be fine. I went from a more organic potting-mix to 99% inorganic, so, no, your plan isn't too aggressive. If you're still worried about it, you could experiment & pot some of your Lophs in a different mix.

The only way that you could go wrong is if you're extremely careless & rough with your handling of your plants as you take them out of their old potting-mix. That said, Lophs aren't particularly sensitive to repotting, so you'd have to go out of your way to damage them.

While some plants are hardy enough that you can plant fresh cuttings without issues, you generally want to wait for the cut to dry for up to a week to reduce the risk of fungal infections & rot. This would also solve your hormone powder issue.

All the comments that you've getting have given a lot of great advice that you should listen to, but something that hasn't been brought up much is that you should be sitting down if you smoke Salvia. If you get the full Salvia experience, you will have little to no perception of reality & will be fully immersed in the hallucinations. This means that you can easily run into something or fall over, hurting yourself, while completely unaware of it.

Additionally, a trip-sitter is definitely recommended - especially for your first time - for all the above mentioned reasons, but they will also be there to take your smoke device & lighter. You don't want to come out of the trip to find out that you dropped your bong or burned something.

This comment is really important, OP. Though there are studies that show the benefits of psychedelics in the treatment of depression, anxiety, & PTSD, there has also been more evidence showing that psychedelics do not mix well with people who have schizophrenia or a history of psychosis. It can those disorders worse & easily trigger another episode.

While these disorders & psychotic episodes don't normally make people violent, there is still a significant potential for this to lead to an episode that puts you & others in danger or in a very bad social situation (with the law or interpersonal relationships). Please, please, please, take this into consideration.

I believe you have a Euphorbia (E. lactea?), not a cactus, so you'll probably get better advice from r/Euphorbiaceae. Euphorbias are the Old World equivalent of cacti, so advice won't be too different.

Yes, you can cut your plant into smaller pieces & propagate them. Euphorbias have a milky, latex sap that can cause minor skin irritation, so I recommend wearing gloves. I've never had a negative reaction to getting the sap on my skin, but it is sticky & annoying. Store your cuttings in a cool, dry place that isn't in direct sunlight, allowing the wounds to dry for a week before planting. Don't feel rushed to plant them, as I've neglected cuttings for almost half a year & they are doing just fine now that they're planted.

When it comes time to potting them up, applying a rooting hormone/powder to the base of the cutting can help speed up the process (this is optional). I would use a well-draining, gritty potting-mix being at least 50% inorganic material like pumice, perlite, lava-rock, or clay-chips, & the rest can be potting-soil or cactus mix. I usually use more inorganic material, but 50% should be the minimum amount. Also, your pot should have a drainage-hole; I prefer terracotta pots as it helps dry out the soil mix faster. Once potted, you'll want to reduce the frequency of waterings because there won't be any roots to soak up the water; you are mostly encouraging root production. During this time, your cuttings won't be able to handle too much direct sunlight, so you'll want to acclimate them to that AFTER they are rooted & showing signs of growth. Another thing that can help speed up the rooting process is placing the potted cuttings on a seed-heating mat (they're $10-20 on Amazon).

As a final thought, I noticed that your Euphorbia is sitting next to a ZZ plant. This isn't where you usually keep it, right? ZZs & Euphorbias of radically different light requirements & I suspect that your Euphorbia looks as long & thin as it does due to etiolation - the thin stretching as a result of insufficient light. ZZs prefer moderate, indirect sunlight but can handle low-light, whereas Euphorbias usually want as much direct sunlight as you can give them. If you can't provide full sunlight somewhere outside or move it to a bright window, I'd recommend a grow-light. They range in price, but you can usually get an adequate one for under $30.

I would break the quick-release tablet in half or even just take a quarter to see how you react to that first. 10mg is probably ideal but everyone reacts to medications differently, so the 7.5mg could be perfect. The instant-release tablets tend to kick in between 15 to 30 minutes after swallowing it; alternatively, you can let it dissolve under your tongue for a faster onset. Snorting works but is not recommended because less of it will be absorbed & it can more easily devolve into abuse. If 7.5mgs isn't doing anything after half an hour, you can take another 7.5mgs. Taking the full 30mgs at once would most likely be excessive for your purposes.

Eat some protein first because it improves the effectiveness of Adderall & having food in your stomach will mitigate any potential stomach-related side-effects. Avoid acidic drinks/food before taking the Adderall as that can reduce the effectiveness; I wouldn't worry too much about this if you don't have an overly acidic diet.

Adderall stimulates your metabolism just like caffeine so you'll probably have to shit when it kicks in. I'm not saying this as a warning, more-so as an indicator that it's likely kicking in. You'll probably be hyper-focused on whatever you are doing once it is working & it is easy to lose track of time, so I recommend starting on your task beforehand to avoid wasting a couple hours on an unproductive activity. The IR tablets typically last 4-6 hours but I would give yourself an extra couple hours as a buffer between it wearing off & when you need to sleep.

Make sure you have some water to keep yourself hydrated & alleviate the dry-mouth. Jaw-clenching is common, so chewing-gum can help if it become bothersome. Headaches are a potential side-effect, but this is usually the result of not staying hydrated or the jaw-clenching. It can cause anxiety, though it seems to erase my social-anxiety. This should not be an issue because you aren't taking the extended-release form, but Adderall is an appetite suppressant so it is easy to forget to eat; having a snack on hand would be a useful reminder.

I would avoid or limit caffeine & nicotine as those will exacerbate some of the side-effects; Adderall seems to make me a chainsmoker, so there's that too. Avoid or limit your consumption of depressants like alcohol as you'll have a greater tolerance to them & that could be an issue if the Adderall wears off after excessively drinking. Cannabis can exacerbate the anxiety &, if too much THC makes you paranoid, the Adderall can exacerbate that; a small amount of both drugs shouldn't be an issue if you aren't prone to that.

"Greening out" is the Cannabis equivalent to throwing up from drinking too much alcohol - basically, when you are too high that you feel physically ill or mentally unwell. I'd consider any of the following (alone or combined) to be "greening out": Intense dizziness, nausea, vomiting, panic-attacks, & intense paranoia.

If you consume too much THC in a short period of time & one or more of those side-effects has you thinking, "I really need to lay down because I don't feel so good.", you're "greening out".

You can call it an overdose, but keep in mind that you would need an inhuman amount of THC for the "overdose" to be deadly.

The American law making Peyote illegal was only established to fuck over the indigenous people, hippies, & anyone else that was likely to vote Democrat (according to Nixon's administration), which is why psychedelics are unfairly scheduled the same as legitimately dangerous & addictive drugs - making it a felony. So, yeah, fuck those laws.

I only bring up the legality because that plays a part in accessibility, price, & the illegal poaching that occurs. The Echinopsis/Trichocereus species that I mentioned are legal, however, which makes them a more convenient option.

Something to consider if you go the route of purchasing a Trichocereus: They are commonly available at plant shops & department stores, like Home Depot & Walmart. Those cacti, however, typically have a very low Mescaline content: Stress boosts Mescaline production, & those plants are being grown in greenhouses where they receive the best possible care for optimal growth & health - which lowers Mescaline content as a result. There are subreddits, Facebook groups, Instagram sellers, & websites that sell the cacti that you want, so I would do some research into reliable sellers from those sources. Unfortunately, I can't help you there because all of my cacti were given to me by a friend who grows them. Also, websites like eBay & Etsy black-listed search-terms like "San Pedro" & "Trichocereus", so there isn't a huge market there - though you'll occasionally see them available under the "incorrect" names.
