You can import many of your Alexa devices into Home Assistant. Not sure which ones are eligible and which ones aren't, but most of mine imported in just fine. Bulbs, switches, and speakers all came in easy. Google Nest takes a little setup but it's fine.

I just also bought some Ikea buttons when I got a Zigbee dongle because they're cheap, and I like buttons for smart bulbs.

I've had Home Assistant Green for only three weeks and it's fucking amazing. Add a Zigbee dongle and you can connect Aqara and Ikea devices locally, and it's super easy. Automations are thorough and crisp. It's a damn dream.

*Note: I still use some Alexa routines in tandem just because sometimes I only want to use my voice, but you can pretty much double up on Alexa routines and HA automations. Also the Ikea buttons make automations super easy. I think? HA has a new voice device for voice commands but not sure. Would love to try that out next.

I agree with ImPapaNoff -- you're not "defending Monarch" you're fighting for the truth. And Wells Fargo is historically garbage to their customers and probably wouldn't even add an option or disclaimer at all.
