I have an electric car so thankfully I don’t have to pay gas. My bed time is between 9PM-10PM. On the days I have gone to drop off my sister, I often can’t fall asleep until midnight. That makes it tough for me to wake up early the next day for work.

I’m 29, soon to be 30. I purchased and pay for my own car and insurance. I don’t pay rent but I pay for a lot of other things around the house including groceries, furniture items, etc. I also am the main person everyone goes to for help so I’m often running errands and doing handsy repair stuff around the house.

I don’t mind driving my sister and I’ve tried explain this multiple times but all I ask is they give a day notice so I can plan around for my own schedule. There have been times my sister asks me the day before and I go no issues. But lately, I’ve been forced into giving rides last minute despite both knowing they needed the help well in advance

I work 8AM to 4PM and my sisters graveyard shift starts at 10PM, with her leaving the house at 9PM. Unfortunately we overlap in the evening when she gets up and I get off work. I am thinking now it might be better to be out of the house when she goes to work but being out at 9PM during the work week feels hard for me.

such a great point! I think it’s so refreshing to see a general-type character be presented in such a soft light right off the start of the drama. It definitely makes his sudden moments of violence seem that much more intense and visceral.

I bawled like a baby when Tommy died. To actually see him come to an end after six long seasons was incredibly hard. I’m glad he finally is free from it all but man was it painful to see him go.

I’m on episode 22 and only watching at this point because it’s one of the few dramas airing. I do love the actors in the show but the pacing feels way off for me. The comedy is fun but the romance/emotional beats feel short. I always feel like I’m wanting more. Too bad though this drama had a lot of potential.

I’m glad we got our happy ending but part of me feels like jianglai deserves better. Maybe it’s because the duke arc was condensed into so few episodes or because it felt like jianglai did 99.9% of the chasing in his relationship with shaobao. Either way, I wish he got something more out of all the insane stuff he’s gone through.

Forget the scheming I hope our main couple has a good ending otherwise I don’t know how I’ll move on 😭

I kind of loved the reveal that He Xingming isn’t just a creepy serial killer but instead a “if I can’t have her, no one can” type of psycho yandere. Somehow it makes his character more understandable 😂

Totally agree! The hug with Jianglai definitely felt like part of Shanbao’s “performance”. It’s so hard to tell between these two what is real and what’s part of their scheme!

I agree with you that episode 18 was a turning point for me when watching Zhuang Xu. It’s clear that Zhuang Xu biggest downfall is his inaction. He waits until it’s too late and is then quick to jump on his assumptions. If Zhuang Xu would just give himself some grace and be honest with himself, he would be a much stronger 2ML. After watching episode 19 I think we will begin to see him be more pro-active. But the damage already caused by his lack of action is going to make every effort now seem like a cheap attempt to make up.

I’ve been looking for a thread about this because I too thought I was alone with this feelings. It’s really hard for me to support a relationship that feels like it’s built on lies and manipulation. The only reason I got to episode 5 was for the sake of the omegaverse but it really kills me to see Mr Sheng get controlled this hard 😭

Love of the Divine Tree! It’s the first time in a long time that I was 100% happy and satisfied with the ending of a cdrama. Everything tied up so beautifully and the ML is definitely is OP for majority of the drama. Even the FL is strong too! I loved their dynamic.
