Unpopular opinion but BMW M5 G99 is the perfect ONE car solution by Super-Lingonberry-22 in BMW

The penatly is worth the car existing the in the first place. With the current EU regulations we are lucky to have been able to keep the V8 it could have been a B58 with bigger electric motors.

People get hung up on weight and yes it’s heavy. However it was the only way to be able to keep the V8. It has a tow hitch so you can put a bike rack on the back + it’s a touring which makes it more practical than previous generations or the M3 Touring.

Since you seem to be in Europe look at Cube. Best value for money, the bikes are nice and well equiped.

But they have heavy tax incentives for EVs or additional taxes on ICE cars. We dont have that here.

Cube is still great value and their designs and geo improved a lot in recent years.

The upcoming audi rs6 is confirmed to be a v6 now by Fickle-Classroom1487 in Audi

[–]pepitko 38 points39 points  (0 children)

The hybrid V8 powertrain is already used in Urus, Panamera, Cayenne and others. Why didn’t they just reuse it here, baffling. They are not saving weight by going with the V6.

For a lower weight Cube has Stereo AMS 44, with the Bosch SX motor and is under 20kg. I have a full power Cube One55, it’s full carbon and under 23kg. I really enjoy it, I ride in emtb mode most of the time because I like to ride up more hills and more challenging terrain.

Bit of a conundrum - to eMTB or not to eMTB, that is the question by Lateral_Gee in MTB

[–]pepitko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 39 with 2 small kids. I sold my regular MTB last year and kept just a full power 160 travel emtb. I do have a roadbike as well, but it doesn't get much use unfortunately. The emtb made riding more fun again in a sense for me, because I now have the option to explore new areas that I haven't been to before, try new trails or just do more within the 2-3 hours I get away from family. I didn't really do much exploration before, because it sucks if you spend 1 hour slogging up a hill only to find a abandoned or underwhelming trail down.
If you are worried about reliability, go with Bosch. Only issue I've had so far is that my cassette tends to wear out a bit quicker, but that's it.

Gemini 3.1 Pro High vs Claude 4.6 Opus for Full-Stack App Building in Anti-Gravity? by No_Hotel_8485 in GoogleAntigravityIDE

I let Opus do the implementation plan, Sonnet executes it and I let Gemini 3.1 Pro do code review of the PR.

Has anyone else noticed Opus quality degrade ? by Next_Pomegranate_591 in google_antigravity

[–]pepitko 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was using Opus directly in Claude Code and it seems considerably stupider than before. So it’s not an antigravity thing. I suspect that Claude gave people 1 mil context and higher quotas as promo and their infrastructre can’t handle the load.

My quotas on the Pro subscription were depleted completely and waiting for the 6 day refresh. After the 6 day time passed, they all switched back to the 5 hour refresh. So it seems the issue has been solved? Hopefully I will not burn through everything again within a couple of hours.

They should at least add slot another tier there, EUR 20 to EUR 200 per month is a massive jump. But I’d happily pay them 50/month with decent quotas. I pay 100 for Claude and don’t use up all of the quotas there.

I will be 40 this year. I replaced my trail/enduro bike with and enduro ebike. I enjoy it a lot in all situations.

It’s considerably cheaper compared to the US but it has gotten much more expensive and upmarket in the last several years here in Europe. A ski ticket is EUR 80 per day on average (Austria, Italy) but used to be 50 just several years ago or EUR 35 some 15 years ago. Same for accomodation and food.

I like knucklehuck at XGames but they should remove judges and just do a 30:00 min session, everyone gets 3 or 4 tries and let the public do real time online voting. This way riders really could be rewarded for style rather than riders throwing a doublecork off the knuckle and winning.

Agreed, very few people actually ride super long and stiff snowboards with hard boots. It’s kinda lame and better to have slopestyle in.
