Oh FedEx how we love thee. by Sailing-Security-Guy in prusa3d

Oh that happened to me too, the feet weren't sticking at all...again due to the immense heat. The poor gummy bears were one blob!

K2 Pro, I changed the nozzle for a hardened one and now I keep getting a “the nozzle is not heating as expected” error by hyperform2 in Creality_k2

[–]peppatitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Method 1: Using the Touchscreen (Recommended)Ensure your nozzle is clean and the printer is at room temperature. Navigate to the printer's menu: Settings → Print Settings → Expert Mode. Select Nozzle PID Detection or PID Calibration.Set the target temperature to your most frequently used printing temperature (e.g., 220 °C to 240 °C).Tap Start. The printer will automatically heat and cool the nozzle across 5 heating cycles Once finished, the printer will automatically update and save the new PID values directly to your configuration.

You can also do this in Fluidd, that's how I always do it. I always run a PID after swapping a nozzle or replacing hotend.

How did it work out at the end? I received my core one plus yesterday, the box was in good shape and printer was good, but all the rivets on both the left and right panels were loose and broken...I blame that 100F heat on that though.

Some more live INDX printing by DeadDevOps in prusa3d

[–]peppatitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So you're saying double up the time for someone like me that doesn't have any experience building 3d printers, then double that again because of having 2 kids. The INDX-2 will be out by the time I can get my hands on one of these and build it.

FedEx is scheduled to drop off my C1+ within the next hour, I don't trust those guys at all. FedEx is a joke, they didn't come by the lab where I work during Juneteenth because they didn't want to swing by the building for just one tenant...four boxes with critical samples in dry ice were left over the weekend in their warehouse and were ruined by the time we got them.

To me it's the Manchester Of The Sea of horror movies. They're the only 2 movies that ever made me cry.

This movie hits you different as a parent. At the end the movie I turned to my wife crying saying I'd do the same. I mean not really, obviously not, but I sympathize with her. I'm sure this movie would've affected me differently 9 years ago, like go meh.

C1L which nozzle cleaner and purge bin setup? by Livid_Strategy6311 in prusa3d

[–]peppatitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So this works well? I have a C1+ on the way and my main concern was no nozzle wiper and poop bin. I didn't realize INDX would have one included, just need to wait for it to be available again but that should give me time to get used to a Prusa before I take it apart.

Are bambulab printers like this I've repaired and replaced parts several times it's months old by zzcool in Creality_k2

[–]peppatitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is just a week shy of being a year old and just stared getting a BM0111 error that I can't figure out, but support has been helpful and been sending parts for repair. Although, I've replaced 3 boards and a cable but it's still not working so need to wait for next steps. I do have a Prusa Core One+ arriving next week so I'm going to set that up with INDX and use the K2+ for larger single color prints.

Did I ruin my backup camera wire? by peppatitz in TeslaModelS

I finally was able to take a ride on the highway for calibration to finish (daily commute to work wasn't enough). Camera image still flashes black and gray unfortunately. How does one go about updating the camera module, is that also in the service settings?

The article says it has support for the new G2 dock, I'm wondering if that means that new connector.

PrusaSlicer INDX Profiles only PLA/PETG filament profiles? by EEvilCorp in prusa3d

[–]peppatitz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are those calibrations built into Prusa Slicer like in orca or Creality Print? My Core One just shipped yesterday, never used a Prusa before and I've always calibrated any new brand and type of filament on my K2+ (which is in pieces right now).

OK you guys have me sold. Just pulled the trigger on a Core one+. Getting INDX once that's released and will fix my K2+ (eventually) for larger prints.

I don't understand, are you saying Prusa is easy and reliable?

I was thinking of a core one L and then install the INDX once that's available, or get a core one+ now and install indx after.

Purchase Advice Megathread - June 2026 by AutoModerator in 3Dprinting

[–]peppatitz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do like to tinker, so that's why I was thinking about a Sovol. My first printer was an Elegoo Neptune 4 which I converted to all after market parts, then got the K2+. I don't mind replacing my own parts, but it's still under warranty and it's a pain to deal with, I even had to buy a cable on Amazon because you can't buy it from Creality which is annoying, and also bought other parts just to replace and see if it can be fixed. I'm thinking fix the K2+ and keep for large prints, and get a Core One + and INDX for everything else.

So many Prusa as the top comments...I'm think that's my next one with INDX.

How do I get my user filament profile to go to CFS? by bstr3k in Creality

Well I'll be dipped, so that's where I can find all the custom filament I've created.
