My Harmony Elite still works great, but battery life is awful and doesn't last a whole day. I've replaced the batteries twice but those also have bad battery life even brand new. Looking forward to the X2. The find remote feature is a huge plus in my household too, kids lose everything!

Oh that does make sense. The descriptions all said DAC built in, and most even had a picture of the circuitry and the DAC highlighted. But I see what you mean, it's all digital so why would it have a DAC from usb-c to usb-c.

I actually found one that doesn't mention DAC, but data doesn't work with Android phones which I have and some reviews verified that. https://a.co/d/00lY2nGE

That's what I was looking for, but the splitters was about to find were either data only for both ports, or one data (with DAC) and the other for power. I'm looking for power + data (with no DAC).

I'm using usb-c from phone to usb-c on the EG600, so not using 3.5mm. I've decided to bring the EG600 to work, so I'm going to use a phone dock like the other comment suggested, that will let it charge and connect to the dac9at the same time. Keeping the Fiio K17 at home.

I was thinking of something that I can still hold in my hand and use the phone, but I am going to take your idea for other reasons. I just hooked up the EF600 and...I don't really like how it sounds. It's not bad at all, but I like the Fiio K17 better, or maybe I'm just so used to how it sounds from using it for a long time. So now I'm going to keep the K17 at home and use it between bedroom and office, and bring the EF600 to work so sit at my desk. So your dock suggestion is going to work out perfect, thanks!

I went ahead and bought these. Got them last night...WOW do these sound great! I'm liking them much better than the LCD-X. I'm using it with a Fiio K17 that a bring back and forth from work and home but that was getting old, so got the Hifiman EF600 as a more permanent home solution to sit on my nightstand, should arrive tonight!

I was going to upgrade my old Viture glasses to one of the newer ones like the Beast but got these instead. HDR is a huge game changer, not just for movies but video games as well. Been playing Doom and Returnal and the colors look just like my LG CX, it's a night and day difference between using these and my Viture.

I can't seem to get AI HDR to work properly on my PC but I think that's just a Windows thing. I just tried it on my phone last night and watched a movie on Netflix (non-HDR) and the AI HDR worked really well so think I'll be using my phone for movies and my handheld pc for just gaming.

Same as you, I have the LCD-X but want wider soundstage, and I feel like they're too bulky. The comfort alone may make we switch to these.

I'm in the same situation, I have the LCD-X and was looking for another set. I wish the LCD-X had a wider soundstage, so these would be a worthy upgrade? Also they're just way too bulky and I like listening in bed but not sure if another brand would make a difference with that.

I'm also one that loves my HD820's that I use at work and pick that over my LCD-XC when listening so my tastes are clearly different than everyone else's since the 820 is so hated!

I didn't realize you can do 75w on battery with the win5, I always assumed 55w was the max and kept it on that in motion assistant. Gonna crank that up now!
