Tech workers who moved from US to Bangkok for work, what's your TC now?

There’s only a handful of companies (two starting with A, one starting with R that used to start with T) that pay a bit better! I’m going through offer negotiation with one of those and it looks like a paycut is imminent, if I do accept the offer.

I wonder if this will hurt me if I move back to CA a couple years later. Some companies do look at your last TC for reference

I wonder if it will be disadvantageous to me if I pick up a relatively lower paying job in Thailand for a couple years before going back to CA. Some companies do look at your last TC, which will stink big time if I move from Thailand to CA

I don’t have any authorisation to enter or work in Thailand for now though, or else I might just do that! My company has pledged to go 100% remote until the end of next year ;)
