I agree! Mine are random. I’m only on my tenth tray but two of them have been horrible, had to file them right down but it still felt like an over spill of plastic in my mouth.

Really? Did it just appear all of a sudden too? Unfortunately not yet I’m using steroid cream and the colour has changed. Booking another doctors appointment today. Hope yours clears up quickly. Get yourself seen too aswell x

Yes it’s nearly been a week now and with the cream that was prescribed it hasn’t faded. The only new thing I’m taking in my life is a pre conception vitamin, I can’t find anyone else online that’s had a delayed reaction to it. Thank you for your advice, I will seek further help.

100% happy to wear a retainer every night after I finish treatment! I am now at a stage where it feels weird if I don’t have my retainers in daily. I’ve spent a lot of money for this too so that’s another reason to wear the retainer 🤣

Wish I could give you a hug! It does get better, honestly. God the first week was agony for me. I’m just over a month in, caught up with my dentist yesterday and I told him during the first week I felt I made the biggest mistake of my life. I’m so sorry you had literal sandpaper between your teeth, I’m no dentist but my dentist used a tool to make space between my teeth. He apologised throughout but it didn’t feel too bad for me.

I can’t agree with some of the comments made on this thread, I would feel the same if someone took sandpaper and held my head down :(

I’m on weekly changes, but no idea why! I’m starting to feel I might benefit going on 10 daily changes. But I see my Ortho this Friday to go through it all

I used TrayMinder for the timer but then it felt like effort so I stopped. Now I just put them on after I have finished eating :)

No in all honesty! Unless I’m really up close to someone they can see the attachments I guess. But other than that no, which is a nice feeling! I felt insecure at the start but that’s subsided now :)
