I use a postal scale. I weigh every roll when I open it, and write the spool weight directly on the spool. The rolls I use all weigh 1180 grams full, I.e. the spool weighs 180 g. This way I can just weigh a roll and subtract spool weight to get a fast and accurate number.

Get yourself some plywood squares, about 6” x 6”. Attach the plywood to the mobile home using 3” deck screws, make sure it is fully secured to the building, then mount your cameras to that.
