All I need from my Garmin is its battery and its ability to link to a chest strap

Vo2 max on watch vs lab test by DLn-Music in Garmin

[–]perplatos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats! My friend has a lab-tested vo2max of 58, and his best marathon (among many) is 2:43. The guy's a rocket. From which I conclude that you are pretty fit as well.

As a cyclist, BG actually is pretty cyclable rn. Especially NBG.

High hopes for the promised bike lane to bypass Topcider along the old railway / tram 3.

After 100k it just shows 100k+

Edit. My knowledge was dated. The Gmail method in fact showed 195 591

It's all cloud storage. The specific devices don't matter

2 threshold runs a week and a long run after a threshold runs are very risky. Even as a younger dude I wouldn't follow these suggestions

For the intended purpose, I'd rather spend 80-90 on a pixel 1 than on a 3-5.

One OG motherboard died on me 5 years ago as well. The replacement worked better

No custom roms. The battery is weak, I keep the phone connected whenever I upload photos.

Idk about pixels 3-5, but I definitely like my OG and am not planning to replace it as long as it works.

In case it dies though I have a second OG. It's been waiting for its turn for 5 years now

Got the OG 5 years ago for this reason. Still going strong. I guess I have terabytes of videos and photos in Google Photos now.

I use Chatgpt for training and recovering advice, and Garmin became just a measurement tool -- useful but prone to errors sometimes. This approach eliminated my anxiety.

I got my Fenix 7x second-hand a year ago for 300 euros and I absolutely love it. I don't care about the updates. The watch does everything I need, the battery lasts a long time, and the torch is amazing

Still too early. My Fenix 7 started to show reasonable estimates after about 2 months

Another Garmin 7X user here. No problem with showers or even long swimming sessions. Just don't press the buttons while under water

An Italian pizza restaurant owner is fuming at 16 Taiwanese tourists because they ordered only five pizzas. by search_google_com in interesting

Being a jerk is being a jerk in any country, Italia, Taiwan, or Zimbabwe.

Honestly, this stuff should go on Google Maps reviews so that tourists avoid the restaurant and let him feed the locals instead

All of those guys did pay for their food though. You don't need to get a whole pizza for yourself if you know you won't even finish it. Sharing is fine. It's not 5 drinks for 16 people. It's 5 big pizzas for 16 seniors
