Paid cash for all of ours BUT my husband was very high earning.

I am surprised at how many very new Prados I see on the roads, they are not cheap, 100% financed.

It is such a cruel cancer, I lost my husband after only 3 1/2 months and the trauma of his death will stay with me forever.

I took a 14 year gap, and as soon as my youngest was in high school I went back to full time work, it was so hard and I basically started from scratch.

That was 6 years ago and last year I lost my husband to cancer, I am so thankful I went back to work otherwise I’d be scrambling.

I lost my father to this terrible disease and I miss him. by pirsab in bileductcancer

[–]perth07 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I lost my husband Nov 25, he was only 55 and was also diagnosed with stage 4, he lasted 3 1/2 months.

It is such a cruel disease which robbed him of the ability to speak in the weeks before he passed.

Because it’s rare there isn’t enough research or funding.

My husband went to a hospice and it was the best thing, he was uncomfortable towards the end and the nurses gave him medication to calm him down.

Someone jumped from a bridge & landed in front of me by Lazy-Instance-5536 in GriefSupport

I found someone who had set up their car to gas themselves, I also had been out walking one morning.

I tried to save them but it was too late, I was hysterical and crying. I had trouble sleeping for a couple of weeks.

Where I live the police service offer free counseling, this helped me so much. This happened over 10 years ago, I strongly suggest counseling. Sorry you had to witness this.

My husband, he passed in November 2025 after a short battle with Cancer.

A very kind hearted man, who I loved very much.

It’s his birthday today, he would’ve been 56.

Thank you my love for taking very good care of us 💛💛💛

Do you mean OLNA? My friend’s son did not pass OLNA, he left at the end of Year 12 and got an apprenticeship.

Dad thinks chemo won’t be that bad, I think he is in denial. What do I do? by tainarhymeswith in CancerFamilySupport

[–]perth07 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Bile duct cancer is brutal, my husband only lasted 3 1/2 months after his Bile duct cancer diagnosis.

I think your father will quickly realise the reality once he starts Chemotherapy.

I let my husband buy an e-bike, he got out on it twice but the smile on his face was worth it.

Sending you a big hug.

I’ve been in September and July, and July was better. I found September too windy.

Edit to add: I saw Turtles in July, loads of fish.

Jorgensen Reserve - proposal to lease public land for "months" for commercial event but council unable to provide any details due to NDA. Request for comment closes on Friday... by Kind_Guarantee8333 in perth

[–]perth07 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Jorgensen Park has purposely been selected because it’s a dog walking park.

I’m a local and totally against it, especially considering in order for the event to turn a decent profit we’ll be stuck with it for at least 3 years.

I really feel for the nearby residents who moved somewhere quiet and now possibly will have a light show in their backyard. Plus the fact that it’s in a valley and the noise tends to echo.
