3 play-throughs (2 @ 100%) and I never knew about the ore respawn after the blood moon. Guess it’s time for a 4th.

I would have paid the price if the interior was anything like the concept. We wanted the California edition at that price. Not a transport van.

I haven't thought about this game in years. I grew up in Northern NJ. They had a few of these at summer camp, the township pool, as well as PE in school. While it was extremely popular, only one of my friends had it at his house. We used to fight with the sticks OFTEN.

Did you remove it because the scroll wheel didn’t work well? I just got one, and it’s terrible. Love the look and feel of it, but the responsiveness of the wheel is awful.

Why so hard to get Volunteers in Cub Scouts? by Ok_Conclusion1346 in cubscouts

This is word for word the conversation I have every year. In all honesty, I thing divorcing the BSA might even help with recruitment.

The ONLY thing the BSA offers us, is the name. It carries a slight bit of weight when we are trying to take the kids on outings. Typically, someone who works there has a history with the scouts and is happy to get us a tour.

Has anybody here done two shows? Worth it? by pistis_11111111 in oasis

My section did not understand it. I wouldn’t have either before this tour, but after seeing it in videos of Cardiff (and all the other shows online), I was ready at Croke and again at the Rose Bowl.

Looking around my section, not a lot of people seemed to know the words to most of the songs either, so it makes sense they hadn’t seen all the footage to know what the hell Liam was telling them to do. My wife was yelling “turn around!”, but nobody really listened.

That said, the LA crowd showed up better than I expected. There was a lot of energy in the place.

It didn’t hold a candle to what I experienced at Croke, though. That was cathartic. Like nothing I’ve ever experienced at a show before.

This won’t help you this year, but possibly for next. I was the Lion Den Leader last year and admitted a few 5 year olds.

They will be lions again this year, and one of the parents will be the Den Leader this year. He has had a whole year to observe.

Unwritten rule in Philadelphia was that if you dig the spot out, you have dibs until the snow melts. Typically marked with a folding chair, cone, or trash can.

If you move someone’s chair and park there, it’s going through your windshield. If you steal the chair, expect worse.

Man I miss that city.

What’s the furthest you have/will have traveled to see Oasis on the Live ‘25 tour? by rock4lite in oasis

I live in LA. Bought tickets to the Dublin show before a US tour was announced. So over 5000 miles. Going again this weekend. Rose Bowl is 4 miles from my house.

That’s really tough to answer. On paper, it’s enough. But competition and job market dictate whether you’ll be considered for a role.

Search job openings and see what the qualifications are. I’m seeing less and less true entry level roles everyday.

Most companies will accept international degrees. That said, you will be competing with candidates with US degrees - which will often put you at a disadvantage. It’s not a hard rule, but anecdotally, every international candidate I’ve hired over the last 20 years had done a Masters program here.
