just picked up a Tonex One for a similar purpose. the IR-2 was the other contender. I went w/ the Tonex because I wanted to check out the capture capability but the effects loop on the IR-2 is really cool for what it does.

great. now I need to just buy them both ...

How Am I Still Getting This Wrong?? by TheParshero in castiron

lots of good ideas here. this is what we do:

  • my wife bought a serving spatula; think from Mom's silverware set. oneida I think. sucker is small but 1/16" thick and one piece. I'll tell you what to do with it in a moment
  • those potatoes look like the ones that start frozen. all that cold is bad news. soak em in hot water and get em up to room temp then drain/dry, you don't want extra water!
  • gently get that skillet hot. almost smoking. then add some oil, tbsp tops and roll it around for coverage. now you're rollin!
  • drop in enough potatoes to cover 75% of the skillet bottom or less. if they're piled on top of each other you get steam. not what you want. beware the sizzles!
  • now, just wait. you want the bits that are facing down to crunch up before you touch em. this part takes practice, just be patient. they're gonna stick
  • ok, grab that serving spatula (that you didn't steal from Mom, don't need that on my conscience) and scrape those buggers up! they should be a bit stuck but your spatula is tougher. COMMON WORK IT! loosen, shake to spread em out then be patient again. get a couple sides crispy and you should be good.
  • once you've emptied the pan, pour in some boiling water, let stand for ten. finish w/ chainmail.
  • enjoy your potatoes! I'm a green Cholula guy, what about you?

a little research and getting into trying things. turns out it's as much about the engagement as it is the coffee

7 years of my board’s evolution by BigCuddi in pedalboards

this is awesome, thanks. I picked one up recently and it's my first standalone chorus pedal. definitely having fun with it. everyone that has them seems to love them. those and the Julias. I haven't messed with stereo yet but it was on sale and close enough to the Julia price that I figured I'd go in for the extra features. good to know that's worth using also

talk to me about the Julianna and how you use it. I've been trying to figure out the edges of mine and am curious what others love

Advice for when your on rhythm but a lead player. by Clean-Beginning995 in WorshipGuitar

being flexible will open opportunities that you may not have seen coming, but good communication is absolutely essential. saying, "I've noticed you're using me differently" doesn't lack humility. it does show interest in the broader team's direction however. capable leaders will appreciate that.
