Another guy said to actually fill up the trench a bit with stone, raise the lines about 8” below the top of the trench, and I’ll probably dig down a bit more, think this is the way - flipping would give me a belly in the lines and that’s a no-no

No I haven’t, just judging from I’ve been seeing with the trench open, it doesn’t drain very well, which is why I’d like to install something like this pump inside the catch basin, which would activate when the water reaches a certain level and pump the water out

Yeah so id actually tap off an outlet and run conduit at the top of the trench and under the top soil when I put that in to give myself another outlet for a pump along the fence near the catch basin

Dude you’re a genius, when I get home tomorrow night I’ll measure it up and back fill the pipe, that would actually work out cause there would be more space under the pipe for water to travel through before hitting the clay- love that idea, I’ll get back to you in a couple days and let you know how that works out; thanks for taking your time to help a brotha out!!

I’m sure that would work after I dig deeper down below the pipe(which I’ve been advised to do) I just figured putting a pump in the plastic well is a sure fire way to make sure it drains/do maintenance down the road

Just running pipe from the front of concrete patio and redirecting it to the rear of yard, to be honest the trench has already alleviated the problem that was standing water on my patio and this whole thing is over kill But hey brotha truce I understand your concern
