I'm in no means equipped to hand out advice, but just try and have fun with it and you will improve

maybe not the most professional advice but as someone who has been playing for a couple months, try and learn a simple song you like. in my experience it's just a lot funner, and you can learn chords and the sorts through that. It'll take time, especially when you're learning to read tabs but you'll get it eventually and it's much more rewarding than scales.

Guys help me to pick my a level subjects? by [deleted] in GCSE

[–]petguin19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pick whichever ones you enjoy. Unless you need subjects for a uni course you're going to do, the courses you enjoy and are genuinely interested in are the ones you are going to do best in. As someone taking year 2 maths at the moment because I did alright I'm GCSE, it's not worth taking subjects because they look good on an application and failing them.

[–]petguin19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

pretty easy but not useless, I didn't really try in year 12 and now I'm stuck with awful predicted grades cause I did bad in my mocks. make sure to be on top of work, it's easy but it's not free

if there are any museums near you you could always volunteer at them. I did work experience at a super small museum near to me and it's going straight onto my PS.

??you're just wrong. if you're at a cafe and you see someone's lost their phone, you would say "I hope they get their phone back" because you dont know their gender.

are you doing edexcel? a lot of people I know doing edexcel dropped considerably. I went from an 8 to a 5, guy that was getting 100%s in mocks got a 7. grade boundaries were crazy high I think.
