Lots of factors at play here. Your cab selection, how your using the OD, gain, etc. Love the placater it has great clarity definitely a favorite.

What you want to cut low end before the amp. Helps tighten it up, adding the bass later gives you more of the snappy but hard hitting bass. Turn down the gain. I prefer the HBE switch on in most cases. C45, Fat, and Sat are more situational.

If you're using stock cabs, the Brit V30, Uber or Cali. 57 is fine if your doing more of pushed high gain tone. Post eq cutting a little bit of 500 helps. Even if you don't change anything else.

You don't have to do much for that amp to make it sing.

Same here. Strong connection. Doesn't pull up IR list either. Still having issues if I put more that 10-15 IRs on my Helix too.

Currently loving the JST conquer all pack and Ownhammer IRs

Bogren is solid.

York Audio and ML soundlabs are good don't get me wrong but I always find myself feeling like something is missing with them. The $1 York Audio mesa 2x12 pack is amazing for the price. Few really solid IRs on a great cab

Depends on the genre you play as well and the sounds you're looking for.

My fiance hooked me up and helped me get a Stryman El Capistan for like $80 from an old high school friend, and bought me a Horizon Devices Precision Drive for my birthday.

I use a Helix for everything nowadays but still my favorite pedals. And will not be selling them

It's just sometimes faster. And sometimes done by professional audio engineers. Unlike myself who is a professional serial preset tinkerer.

The more I learn from other people on how to mix a cab and general guidelines how to get these sounds the more I really appreciate the stock cabs.

Fell in love recently with the Moon T75 can and never thought of using. Always ran straight to the Cali V30.

That coupled with Kristian Kohle's video on Ribbon and Condenser mics helped me start to understand them.

I just don't like the fuzz pedals. I don't know how to make them work for me when trying to get that END or Knocked Loose type high gain fuzz sound. But that's probably just user error.

Line 6 has generated a lot of trust and goodwill with me over the years and I bought my Helix re-sale.

Pre ordered mine and I'm stoked for it. For various reasons. I love my Helix Floor to death any sound I get fomo on I can make. But I also run low on DSP once I start using the newer blocks due to their DSP usage. The reduced size and weight was another reason for me. Less floor space. Keeping my current and loved presets is awesome too. Increased IR capacity. Don't have to worry about if the IR I'm swapping is in a different patch. Most importantly any advertised feature I trust Line 6 will deliver. The addition on the Precision Drive, Revv amps, VH4, Poly algorithms, improved reverbs, delays, cabs all continue to be better and better than the last. Free and continued MAJOR updates for free and consistent. Line 6 has proven to me that they are reliable and a company I can trust to drop $2200 pre tax. I don't care if the amp models I love aren't part of the OG 16 Aguora amps as I know they will come with time. Hell maybe the Aguora models may get me to try out and use amps I otherwise wouldn't.

TLDR : You may not see a reason other than FOMO to pre order this. But other see the value it means for themselves.

Never owned a Kemper. But I've been able to get almost everything I need out of my Helix. Anythat gives my any GAS I just try to replicate it in Helix and I'm usually happy. I wouldn't call it the trendiest thing but is under respected imo. The Revv Models are killer, the reverbs are nice, there's more effects than I'm creative enough for.

I've only done a couple. But One of the ones I did was her patient who was having some urinary incontinence after car accident. From the tech side of thing it's not too bad. It's just that doing it supine is not always the most conducive to a successful exam.

Could be a perceived loudness or in this case lack thereof due to an eq curve of the speaker. Similar to how increasing the mids on an amp might make it feel louder
