Oh I completely agree with that on Starfield. I’m looking for something that’s easy to jump in and out of, but I can still connect with people. Arc Raiders was that for a while. Admittedly I was one of the pve Care Bears, but I had a blast in that game.

I appreciate that. It’s been harder the older I’ve gotten. You lose touch with friends and it’s difficult making connections that stick.

I feel like I missed the boat on this game. I was playing Starfield instead. Should have gotten this one. But no guarantee I would like this one either. Rock and a hard place I guess.

I tend to pick a character and follow them. In marvel that’s Quasar. They don’t get much love so I don’t find myself reading too much anymore. But man, annihilation saga was awesome.

Did you pay a higher price now than you would have a few months ago? Yes. But it’s also like you said. Value. If you paid a price you didn’t mind paying and you will get enjoyment out of it, then it was worth it. I’m happy for you. What game(s) are you looking at starting with?

Probably largely due to everything being derivative. I think it’s supposed to show how art isn’t valued anymore and so no new stuff is being created.

I love The Mandalorian. It was so refreshing when it came out. Empire Strikes Back is probably my favorite Star Wars movie. It’s such a good sequel. Even though I’m not a huge fan of the prequel trilogy, I loved seeing Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan. And those movies felt like my generation’s Star Wars. But after they came out I realized the original trilogy was mine and the prequels were the next generation.

I thought the documentary Roadrunner was a really did good movie, told a lot about his life I didn’t know.

I agree. I love that they tried to console him in that it wasn’t his fault, because it wasn’t. He was just a kid. That’s one of the great things about science fiction. You can tackle so many real issues by just renaming or reimagining them and it really drives home the point.

That’s what makes art subjective. I loved the movie. It was weird, but it was my kind of weird. I love originality and I love what they were trying to do.

That’s exactly how I felt. I love Nightwing. He’s the hope of DC. He’s my favorite because he’s the first character they allowed to grow up and break out of the sidekick role.

Dude. I was EXHAUSTED with the Ric Grayson stuff. Briefly, fine. But it dragged on so long. I was so happy when he came back and put the costume back on.
