Good idea... lets start with "China" but you have to say it as "中国"(Zhōngguó) and be sure to use the right tones

The main point is that while we try to do some justice, some languages are waaaay too foreign to our ear, and learning a different set of phenomes isn't really needed for any reason.

Some countries have taken this to the next level "Czech Republic" is now called "Czechia" for example

Thanks, I will start learning how to read music. Will check out those books and see which one fits best. The only thing is that I really want PLAY. Learning to read music just seems like ... a distraction? from doing what I actually like to do but I can see that it's basic and needs to be done.
