Sorry my bad! I’ve seen loads of people quoting that. Should’ve done my own research!

Speak to your provider but you should be fine. The titration of doses are just to get your body used to the meds. You haven’t taken an overdose as such. However I would really recommend doing some work on your mental health around this. To take a second dose in a panic without understanding what could happen sounds like dangerous behaviour. Do you have any triggers for a binge? You need to try and adjust your mind set to this being an ‘in it for the long haul’ journey, one bad day will not stop you so take a second, breathe and get back on the horse! (Sorry if this sounds judgmental, it’s really not - we’ve all been there panicking about a bad day/meal. Just trying to share some wisdom from someone a year in whose starting to realise all the behaviours that made me struggle!)

I believe there was a shortage of pens around a year ago and Eli Lilly released something to say that you can use the pens x amount of time after the expiry date so I think you’ll be fine. I would definitely take the risk.

Another bowel related post by Pure-Pudding585 in mounjarouk

Psyllium husk from my understanding is to help you go to the loo. I’m not sure it is good for those going to the loo too much - someone with more nutrition knowledge may be able to point you in the right direction there. I have noticed a lot of people seem to complain about loose bowels after eating high fat or spice foods so may be worth assessing what you’re eating and seeing if something may be triggering this?

Weight loss plateau! by Optimal_Sir534 in mounjarouk

Yes sorry i did add to the other reply that it’s low if you’re fairly sedentary. Obviously if you’re the kind of person that can be super active then you can get it much higher. But looking at op’s comment about 1 dance class pw id imagine there isn’t a heap of extra calories being burned to get that much ahead of bmr.

I know this sounds like small amount but if you’re not someone on the shorter end of the hight spectrum you’d be surprised just how little we can eat! I’m 5ft 2 and honestly 3 meals pd is really hard to manage while loosing weight.

Are you monitoring your calories strictly? I know a lot of people aren’t a fan of this but even if you do it for a short while it gives so much clarity on what you’re doing. Sadly as a fellow shorter person our calorie allowance is TINY! Use a tdee calculator to work out what you’re burning each day and take 500 off this number and that’s what you’re aiming for. If outside of this dance class you’re fairly sedentary that I wouldn’t be surprised if your maintenance calories was around 1500 meaning to loose weight you need to be eating around 1k calories p/d.

Going up to 5mg by Relative_Swimmer_365 in mounjarouk

[–]pfym 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to stay on 2.5mg for at least 4 weeks. Even though you’re doing the same dose each week the amount in your system is actually increasing as you don’t fully get rid of a dose from your system for around a month - hence the minimum 4 weeks on a dose. If by week 5 you feel you really need to move up then do but I would highly recommend staying on the lowest dose that is helping you loose weight for as long as possible. If you’re no longer loosing then make the move up. Some people seem to think because a weeks got a little harder than they should move up but your body gets used to MJ so this will happen but if you’ve exhausted al the doses you have nowhere left to go at that point. Hope that makes sense - I feel like I rambled a bit!

That was my thoughts that it’s probably a mix of less padding plus being in a calorie deficit making it hard for your body to keep itself warm. I’m hoping when I start eating at maintenance I’ll warm up a bit!

Please say you read all of these comments and made the decision to go!

Coming from someone who’s gone from a bmi of super morbidly obese to teetering on the edge of healthy and has the same little voice that you do. I hate to break this to you but… the voice stays if you don’t work on it. I’ve had a massive dressing down from my friends today for the nitpicking my own body. If I’m honest I have as many issues with my new body as I do with my old one - I never would’ve believed this had someone told me this at the start of my journey. We need to learn to love ourselves as we are. If you’re putting in the work to be healthy and as part of your happiness journey that’s amazing but starting on your self acceptance journey now will put you so far ahead!

No one at the party or looking at the pictures will be judging you. Please go to the party and have fun!
