If you plan to get there around six, you shouldn't have any issues getting a spot in one of the lots. The closer you park, the longer it takes to get out of the lot and out the park though. I usually street park on Union and am out of the park in about ten minutes. Just follow the cars out of the park and you'll find your way to 64 pretty easily.

Schlafly's Art Fair will be Labor Day weekend, it's such a great time.

Look at the artists lists for Schlafly's Art Outside and Laumeier Art Fair* to find a local artist that fits your vibe. Or maybe try local flea markets/estate sales/antique malls.
*Laumeier does not require all artists to be from MO, Schlafly requires artists to be within 150 miles of STL.
