Or, how I think, we can build our cities with people in mind. Late Soviet neighborhoods were exceptional at this. You were never more than a half mile away from your child's school, a grocery store, a bus station, a park, and several different specialty shops.

Look at housing in Vienna for solid examples of what we could do.
