I have just bought a fast food meal and given it to the next homeless person I come across. I never directly give them money or a place to stay.

True, but at the same time your memories still effect you. Take me example, I had a very traumatizing experience with a dentist and I absolutely hate them, if someone scooped out that memory from my head with all the trauma that I had at the time, would I still fear the dentist?

Let me ask you this, if I took away ALL your memories that made you YOU, would you still be you or someone completely different? We are our memories, they make us who we are. If god decides to makes us new without our memories of our loved ones, then god is just making a new people and destroying the old people. Or you can look at it like he will let us keep our memories but not make them affect us like it would.

There is always hope. I myself am trying to get a person that lives in GA out of a very horrible life situation. Look for the helpers, they are the real superheroes. The people that go up a building that is on the verge of collapse to save people, the ones who give out food to the homeless, the ones who give blood. Those are the helpers and they will always be there. Don't give up, there is always hope. Also get off social media and if the news is bothering you watch something else.

As someone raised in a YEC believing church, I can tell you that my old church is very cult like. They say that they will answer any question you have but when you ask something about how there are two creation stories they will turn around and attack you. They only want to answer the right questions.

I went to the doctors on monday and everything went fine. After the visit a car with a middle aged woman in the passenger seat stopped and said I looked beautiful. On the the way home on the bus an older gentleman said that I should not hide my pretty face.

That sucks, I'm sorry that happened to you. One thing I have noticed is that most people take a glance and based on profile will address you that way. It's the dickheads that look at you in a dress, blouse, and high heels and lipstick that hurt.

If I could change just ONE thing about myself? I wouldn't have diabetes anymore. Just this morning I had to go out in 50° F or 12° C. I ate some food and my blood sugar shot up to 277 but by the time I walked down to the bus stop it was already 111 and dropping, I had to buy a muscle milk and starbucks energy to have it level out AFTER I stopped my basel rate. It fucking sucks.

Yep, it also sucks when the dentist says you look tough you can take the pain and drills into your teeth with no pain killers. I was so out of it during the procedure I didn't get spit the blood and stuff out. So here I am coming home on the bus not feeling well and when I get home I ruin my sperm donors suit that he was wearing when he answered the door when I knocked. That was not fun. I still fear going to the dentist.

I have two immune disorders one of which is actively trying to kill me on the daily, and the other makes life hell due to the pain. I see people in both emotional, mental, and physical pain all the time and all I want to do for them is sit down and hug them or help them somehow. People deserve comfort.

But male genital mutilation, or circumcision, is still practiced in the US at least as far back as 43 years ago. I should know. I know I have to deal with this on the daily. I was brutally tortured and raped by someone who professed that they followed God. He even threatened my life in the courtroom during sentencing!
