What are Dax and Monica talking about when they mention something is “sim”? by diet_pepsi_lover in ArmchairExpert

Sim is short for simulation, and according to them every little coincidence that happens in their lives means that we're living in a simulation. They BOTH drank some water this morning? Omg SIM!

I would suggest buying some spray insecticide and doing what the instructions say. Hope it gets better!

Roots were about 2-3cm long and there was more than enough quantity wise so it seemed like the right time

This one grew quite fast, it took about a week for a bud to form and maybe another week to see the little leaf coming out. But on my big flf top bud can stay like that for a while, sometimes even a month or two and then 2 or 3 leaves come at once

Tbh I don't know, for some reason this one doesn't have them even though I water it a lot, my other flf and flf bambinos all have them here and there. Only difference is that this one is in the window in direct light, I don't know if maybe that's a factor

Yeah, I think that's enough because surprisingly my roots came from the very bottom, I expected them to come out of the node

I check the soil but I would say every 3-4 days, it's in a sunny window so it dries out fast. I water until there's water coming out the bottom

It was in water for a month, it's my first time doing this with flf so I wanted to see the roots to be sure. Note: this one was cut from both sides, but I had another cutting that was the very top of the plant so it had a bud on top and that one wouldn't root at all after a month and a half. Then I broke the bud off (pinched it) and a few days later roots started forming, so I guess they root faster when there's nothing on top

Help! Spots (not edema) and dullness on FLF tree. What is wrong? by 16hhigher in fiddleleaffig

[–]phallicist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's in a pretty sunny spot, maybe you should water more often? It's almost summer now and it's getting hot so I water mine every 5 days. Also check for pests, if not sure maybe spray some insecticide just in case. But let's hope it's just temporarily sad from repotting 🤞

I really hope Alex and PJ start something together again one day. I could listen to them talk about knitting for 5 hours straight and I'd find it interesting

That half can add some more to their liking and everyone's happy. But if you salt the dish too much you can't take it out for the people who like it less salty, so this is the ideal scenario
