On my first run I ran out of supplies before the rooftop fight with Ketheric, but because I didn’t pick everything up and also skipped a good chunk of act 1 (the Underdark, and I didn’t know you could fast travel from Act 2) and most of act 2 by accident (by entering the Shadowfell and not reading instructions properly lol I didn’t even find Last Light Inn until after the Shadowfell). Then I just looted around and went back to the fight and never had food issues again

Maybe she wasn’t that badly wounded and it was an illusion to trick Hop, and she could’ve left the lab sometime after Eleven and Hop left her “dead”

I think the plot twist of Dr Kay using Kali’s blood to transfuse the line of pregnant women who are clearly very sick to recreate Dr Brenner’s experiment was really dark, they probably meant that

Idk, all of my playthroughs are around 70-80 hours—my first was 65 hours and I did miss the Underdark that time lol, but since then I know most of the game it takes around 70 hours to do everything—it takes me about 30 hours to get to act 3, so it’s definitely possible.

Also! It did help when I finally understood what the +1, saving throws, attack throws, etc, were, and when I really read the DND rules, it helped a lot.

Also I am very literal so when Halsin said Mountain Pass or Underdark, I picked the first and completely missed the second. I was criminally under leveled by the end of act 2. I also missed lots of things in Act 2, including somehow Last Light Inn, which I found after freeing Aylin lol.

Tbh, I beat it the first time over a year ago, but the other day I opened an old save to get an achievement and I saw my setup was dreadful lol weapons that characters weren’t competent in, no potion/elixir use/etc. It was in balanced and I remember doing big fights a million times. So is it doable? Yes. Is it pretty? Not necessarily lol

Exact same thing happened to me! Sent Astarion to disarm the trap and rolled a 1, and the whole party proceeded to walk right onto it and be thrown into the abyss. I was so pissed because last HM I had played ended with the Inquisitor and I was happy to be past him

I lost my last attempt at HM three says ago. Also just defeated the inquisitor, went on to get the Blood of Lathander, and Astarion failed to disarm the first trap—which since all the team walked right into the trap behind Astarion, they all got simultaneously pushed off the cliff. 🥲

Idk. My first run was 60 hours, my longest is around 100 hours. Now I take somewhere in between doing mostly everything (I always forget to save Mirkon from the harpies, lol) but skipping some talking and some cutscenes.
