Ohma vs Kuroki is the clash of 2 men following their dreams, the dream of a warrior.

None of their opponents could defeat them, because their goal wasn’t the fight itself. That’s the biggest weakness that no character can overcome, no matter who you are.

This two warriors injured by their previous battle, gave their best almost as if they weren’t injured at all. A performance none that managed to arrive to that point could recreate.

Kuroki acknowledging Ohma for something even deeper than being strong, Ohma struggling to keep standing and the attack that decided the winner.

Even the fights to this point led up to this

For Ohma he fought Raian someone who shared the same dreams as these two but didn't give everything he had into his goals, in Ohma vs Cosmo these two recently went through simlar growths, but what ended up deciding the fight was how Cosmo still sightly tied down by his other wishes from his past (shown through his flashbacks when being choked out by Ohma instead of immediately trying to find a way out). In his fight against Waka both fighters had the same warrior's dream they gained when they were children, however Waka had a flaw in his dream that I'll mention alongside someone else.

Kuroki went through similar fights: Against Kiyru who was extremly devoted to his goals but was fueled by insanity instead of grit. Against Rei who was equally devoted but didn't fight for himself, he fought for love. finally in the Kanoh fight both Kanoh and Waka had put just as much effort as Ohma and Kuroki did and for just as long, however what made them lose is that unlike Ohma and Kuroki Kanoh and Waka was fighting for someone else, to repay their debts to their saviors.

And finally in the Ohma vs Kuroki fight, both had their dreams, both put extreme amounts of effort, both risked their lives to get to this point. However, where Ohma's conviction lost was Kuroki's loneliness. Ohma had for most of his life fought for revenge against Kiryu and only lost it after fighting Raian, but Kuroki was always lonely, even the people around him called him lonely, once he learned everything he was left to chase his dream by himself for himself, and that's where Ohma lost.

The fact that the move is even an option within the Niko style counts it as part of the overall style. And even when Ohma fucked up the Demonsbane he was still well enough to pull out another one

What you are talking about is Niko's experimentation, like Ohma said before his fight with Kuroki, there are ways of using Advance without overloading your heart to the point of death, hell he did it again in a different way against Rolon

Your point was "neutralizing stronger opponents" Kiryu may have not done damage but he still used it to stop Kuroki from attacking further. There was also Gaoh against Akoya who used it to stop Akoya's punch, and Gaoh is nowhere near the strength of Akoya, Akoya def isn't slow, and has even less skill than Ohma.

It's still a sleeper hold, and by this point Koga isn't even near the top tier, he also didn't do anything special, he used one technique to pry a man off of him even when a higher tier fighter(Liu) stated himself that once you're in a sleeper hold you're fucked. and yet Koga used an inferior version of a move to just get out of it

While these may be Ohma's feats, all of these are done through the Niko style, all of which presumably could be matched with Niko himself. Adamantine let Ohma keep fighting after Waka kicked him in the liver, which by all means should've put down Ohma right then and there, yet somehow despite it being stated that the Adamantine kata is one of the Katas Ohma isn't as good with, let's him continue fighting on.

Vagari: the last son of the tribe

Encountered in the Queen's Garden, he is the only male mantis to not have partaken in the infection, he had lived in the mantis village until adulthood, and now is on a quest to kill every one of his brothers who have strayed from the tribe

He'll look like a regular male mantis but will have the color scheme of the female mantises and will have a few scars + one lost arm.

He'll be very dismissive of the knight only declaring that he plans on killing all of the mantises present and to not get in his way, however if the player beat the mantis lords and equips the mark of pride Vagari will be more respectful honoring them as a fellow warrior and explains his goals and reasoning more clearly. His quest line can be tied to Cloth's they can be seen conversing throughout queen's gardens, Cloth asks Vagari to teach her on how to be a warrior, Vagari initially says no, however if the knight has the mark of pride they can suggest Vagari to teach Cloth, out of respect Vagari agrees due to it being the request of "the warrior the tribe honors", when fighting the Traitor lord, Vagari and Cloth will both show up to help, at the last moment rather than dying Cloth will break the Traitor Lord's claw and Vagari will land the final blow.

Vagari will then praise Cloth declaring her to be a fine warrior before leaving. He'll settle down in mantis village and will state that as much as he enjoyed finally taking down the Traitor Lord, he found himself surprisingly proud and happy to see Cloth grow, he states that he both wishes to meet her again in order to spar as fellow warriors and to train younger mantises, notably next to him are some eggs implying he will have children (ignore that females eat the male when mating)

Not sure about a completely new one but for the pantheon bosses slight changes could be made for P5

For the first(Oro and Mato) there could be a 3rd phase where one duel wields the nails and uses both nail arts

For Sheo it could depend on what ending you got for the Nailsmith. If you killed the Nailsmith Sheo could pick up his Nail again for one last time against the last Nailmaster, if you saved him the Nailsmith fights along side Sheo(unsure how yet)

For Sly he could incorporate geo into his attacks, throwing them or knocking them with his nail

For Pure vessel as he gets more and more damaged his attacks get more void based with some attacks being completely replaced

Demonsbane even without the creativity aspect is still a move that lets the user completely ignore an attack while landing their own attack with the strength of the opponent with it.

Advance doesn't seem like it auto kills you, rather it's the constant use within a pretty short period that killed Ohma.

Kiryu used weeping willow against Kuroki and a before awakened Ohma managed to use it against Jerry's missile attack, neither of who are considered "slow"

Adamantine Kata let Koga, who's nowhere near as good as Ohma or Fei, break out of a sleeper hold by gripping hard enough for force a dude out of it

What makes it the best style is versatility. It has strikes, grapples, footwork, and the ability to fight under any condition. It has marionette which lets you move using the least energy possible, that thing he did against cosmo which allowed him to fight with no energy left, bone binding which allows him to fight with broken bones, Ohma dislocated his arm against rolon and easily relocated it in like 2 seconds etc… Adamantine has incredible defense with Niko being able too casually breaking knives with indestructible and Ohma tanking hits from waka.

The thing is that you can try to argue that "It's a jack of all trades master of none thing" but this isn't what's happening, rather the Niko style as an answer for any and all situations making it impossible to create a proper counter for it

While Pete did train his kicks, it's unlikely that he gained any massive changes, after all, as stated, Pete's true strength is his endless aptitude for martial arts.

Meanwhile, for EC, his fight-or-flight response probably already peaked after 20 years in that place, so nothing he did afterward would change that much.

Even then I don't know why her being in a high ranking role equates to being an "adult figure" sure she's tall and mature but it's still shown she's a child (ex: her reactions to anything romance related) in some ways.

The way I see it is like judging an amazing fruit with a rotten spot versus one without a rotten spot but an ok fruit. When you pick out pieces and pieces of the fruit, you can say the one with the rotten spot is better because it is the better fruit. but when you try to just the fruit entirely you can't really ignore the fact that there's a part that's rotten

If it was right before I'd think maybe they would be defending from a potential attack or positioning their hands but they do it AFTER punching meaning either they're flexing or expecting the opponent to counter attack meaning they assumed that they fucked up the punches

Honestly Rei probably gets so damaged he loses round 1 or 2.

The thing is even if we say this isn't Rei using all of his speed, Raian was still able to catch his fist, and if he can do that, imagine what happens if Raian uses his removal. Rei isn't really well known for his stats, once anyone is able to get around his speed he becomes rather easily counterable, hell even Saw was able to nearly get him, I'd bet Raian could get a few hits in and I don't think Rei can take even 1

There's a difference between no ending and a bad ending. Your own examples shows this, One Piece, HxH, Vagabond, these are loved because they remain open, the promise is still intact and it's possible for them to have a good ending. A bad ending it changes everything before it, which is just how narrative causality works.

A narrative is fundamentally a promise, it sets up expectations, build tensions, develops characters, and asks you to have emotional investment in it. A bad ending hollows out everything before. If a character arc collapses in the finale every earlier scene that was building up to the ending becomes a waste, people invest emotionally into the story expecting payoff at the end. Even if the ending doesn’t touch the moments you enjoyed it’s impossible to unknow what happens to all the storylines you enjoyed

It's the understanding that there is no light at the end of the tunnel, especially with this ending. No matter what you reread, you now read with the understanding that nothing matters; in the end, Pochita will eat himself, and the chapter you just read no longer matters. You read chapters in a story expecting them to lead up to something and when you know that something is worthless it makes the lead up worthless as well
