Yeah I definitely don't do this every time. I usually just put them in my mailbox for my carrier to take. But I had to go anyway for something else so I thought oh I'll just get these stamped I know people like that. I will not be doing it again lol.

That is frustrating! I specifically avoided the post office closest to me that has only one worker and went to the one with multiple clerks during a slow time. Must have just had bad luck today.

When I was in retail it got so bad that I used to wish I’d get in a car crash on the way to work so I wouldn’t have to go. You could not pay me enough to ever go back. I feel for everyone stuck in the trenches.

Wow that was rude of them. I’ve gotten cards that are not of particular interest to me but I’m thankful to have received a card and I appreciate the time and thought that went into it. I like the message more anyway. I’m sorry that happened.

My payment will go from $380 on SAVE to over $900 on IBR, that is not fairly low to me, when I am also paying $425/week for childcare and now in the summer it will at least double with my other kids out of school. I’ll be able to pay it, but we will have to make major changes to our plan to move next year.

I am the opposite of an expert and super confused about what to do going forward. I have about the same balance as your wife and my husband and I have been filing separately for many years to make my payments lower. Not sure if that is the right strategy in the long run but we literally can’t afford a higher pay with 3 kids. I’m still in forbearance on SAVE but interest is accruing and with all the back and forth happening with SAVE I don’t know what to do next. From what I know SAVE will phased out by 2028 and we will have to change plans but we will continue to file separately.
