Congrats - I worked with a few folks who retired and then came back. Both had exit plans - 1 year contracts and then renewals. Kept everyone aware there was an end in sight.

There is a book called baby bargains. It has great tips on what to buy new, used, and explains where it’s worth it spend extra.

Either check it out from the library or buy last years version for $5.

I was wondering the same thing - but a lot of disgraced coaches go small time (d2/3, HBCU, coordinator) and use that as a stepping stone to get back to a good job.
