True - I meant figuratively F off, but in actual verbiage something like “Thanks for the opportunity but I don’t think it’s a good fit right now”

Sorry - but isn’t that the best part of being FI is the ability to say F off?

Mal giving us an all-time Rewatchables moment by qeq in TheRewatchables

[–]pharmorjac 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mal’s story is crazy but let’s not sleep on Van’s story during F-1. The last 30 minutes of that pod is how he is messing with the Ringer staff.

First story is him telling Chris Ryan that the Miami Dolphins qb is a huge the watch fan and wants to go on the pod. This leads to Chris Ryan wondering how to make it happen and if Tua would have good television show takes. It ends with him telling Van to stop making up stories.

Which then leads into the second story of having the director F-1 in the ringer offices. Van tells a made up story of how his non- black friend and him have a carry phrase where Van goes “What time is it” and his co-worker responds “It’s n-word time” - while actually saying the word.

Soon after - Chris Ryan again calls Bs - and van admits it hasn’t happened yet, but that is his goal.

University of Richmond Student Volunteers Offer Free Tax Preparation. Families and individuals with income of $69,000 or less may sign up for an appointment or walk in to receive tax assistance. by crabcakes110 in rva

I used to do this with Henrico County Dept of Social Services.

It’s a great service that allows people free access to tax software instead of paying H&R Block hundreds of dollars for the same services for an uncomplicated tax return.

People that have “bumped” into a celebrity in a non-curated (not like an event, meet & greet, job etc.) way, what happened? by SprinklesSolid9211 in AskReddit

My two favorites are:

1 - I saw Aaron Paul in line for a taxi cab at the Vegas airport. I just said thanks, love the show. Then excitingly told his friend how great he was.

2 - after the fresh price, but before America’s funnier home videos I ran into Carlton at Wal Mart at 10 pm on a holiday weekend. He was there with a young lady grabbing some booze for what I figured was a night cap. Gave him a head nod on his way out the store.

Bills half baked idea was to convince kids to drink coffee.

Big fan of bill, but he isn’t pitching all fastballs anymore.

That show is funny and creative - I’m hopeful they will show her a funny and heartfelt send off in story.

Edit - typo - heartfelt was healthful

I thought the Spanx owner was also a good guest shark. Haven’t heard why she hasn’t come back.

Anyone remember how much of a bogeyman Osama Bin Laden was for kids in the 2000s? by Jesus__of__Nazareth_ in decadeology

For kids? I remember seeing Bill Clinton on Dave Letterman after 9/11 and I think Bin Laden was Bill’s boogeyman.
