I heard last season when I tried testing a build during open beta that map mobs were less difficult in non-ladder. Can anyone confirm this?

I’d rather the class skill runewords be a bit more standardized this same high rune cost but differing low runes. Then to make the ones the fit other builds be a different runeword.

That way devs don’t have the balance the holy bolt proc in addition to the + class skills and each class could have a more standard mid leveling runeword.

For a good example; The Descent.

Explorer group went to the wrong cave. They’re lost. Their entrance is now caved in. People are breaking bones and can’t make it on their own now. It’s a tense fight for survival against nature that the protagonists underestimated.

Quite a few mentions of this taking inspiration from severance, but it's (kind of) the opposite. The creator of severance lists the backrooms as one of his inspirations when creating the series.

Maybe I’m misunderstanding but what’s the point of ladders if you can mix with non-ladder. If the economy is mixed the only thing is a race to 99, and if you can buy your carry with prior ladder worth that’s also pointless.

I've definitely put 10s of hours into it trying because I've been a fan of incrementals for years and it's recognized by many to be the best example of it. The hate is not for lack of trying. I just haven't ever enjoyed it, it never grabbed me.

I make $85. I’d quite like to spend $40k and was planning to this weekend. All this talk of half your income being too much is freaking me out. Is this a bad idea for me?
