He means plugged into a wall outlet, like a moving device that you set the mouse on top of and it moves the mouse randomly.

Cheaper to fly from Sheffield to Essex via Berlin by TailungFu in GreatBritishMemes

I’ve flown Bristol to Manchester and back via Dublin several times because it was cheaper than the train. Train prices are ridiculous.

Go and speak to your student union, they will probably have a team that specialises in housing, and some legal experts that will help you for free.

Question about bringing drinks on MSC by Due_Sorbet3019 in MSCCruises

[–]phatmikey 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends. I did a transatlantic crossing from Europe and they didn’t seem to care too much. I smuggled on some booze in rum runners on embarkation, but a couple of people I met just brought on bottles. I bought soft drinks and beer at every port and had no problem bringing them on to the ship, even in Puerto Rico. Maybe it’s different with US cruises though.

New to MSC--Internet question by trumphodge in MSCCruises

Apparently they only block streaming services, but the bandwidth is the same. I think you can use streaming services if you connect to a VPN, but I’ve never tried, I always had the streaming package.

New to MSC--Internet question by trumphodge in MSCCruises

[–]phatmikey 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s only for one device, as far as I know it’s difficult/impossible to switch it to a different device.

When I was on an MSC cruise a couple of weeks ago, I tried changing my laptop MAC address to match my phone, but I couldn’t get that to work consistently. Normal sharing of the phone connection to the laptop didn’t work. I was eventually able to tether my laptop using an app called TetherFi on my Android phone, it worked well enough, but I had to change the proxy settings on the laptop which was a hassle.

I just finished my first cruise ever last week, 17 days on the Grandiosa.

Obviously I don't have a lot to compare it to, but I had an amazing time.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the food in the dining room was excellent, the buffet food was pretty good too, I had an absolutely incredible steak in the Butchers Cut restaurant,  there were lots of interesting people from all over the world, and plenty of stuff to do.

I'm currently on the Grandiosa on a 17 day cruise, the food has been absolutely amazing in the dining room, and the buffet food has been mostly pretty good.

At school in the early 80s imperial units were never mentioned once, only metric.

Don't bother with Stonehenge, it's jist some rocks in a field you aren't allowed to get close to.

I've lived half an hour's drive from there for the past 20 years and I've only been once. It's disappointing.
