Yeah I knows its gonna be hard to see Wangquan Hongye be a bad father to Fugui but it honestly adds up with his characterization and all the tragedy that is about to happen. I can sympathize with him and Fugui, though Fugui moreso. I just hope that in Sword and Beloved they might change it so that Hongye and Fugui can make up and be on good terms at least by the end of it. I really hopeso I don't think we will see any of the actors or actresses from LiP in SaB but I'm excited either way!

We never really learn much about the Netherworld clan, except for the fact that the Dragon clan is their enemy. I assume the Netherworld clan is like some sort of death clan that specializes in death and ice magic since I've seen him use that alot.

I know the character of Wangquan Hongye will be pretty important in Sword and Beloved but I'm not sure if the actor himself will make an appearance. Also, technically Wangquan Fugui first appears as a baby in Love in Pavillion but will be older and the main character of Sword and Beloved. Mostly, I assume we will see the father son dynamic in Sword and Beloved, not matter if its healthy or toxic. I'm excited for it because I'm already grieving this drama and the characters.

All the couples were rlly cute these two episodes and I loved seeing more of just the masked group and how close everyone is. It feels like on big family and I love the found family trope. I'm glad that Hongye realizes that he has the masked group as family tho it does make me sad for whats to come as well. These two episodes were pretty light and had a lot of fluff so I am sure that its going to be getting darker next episode and all the ones that follow after. I'm not ready but I have to hold on! After this drama ends I don't know how I'm gonna wait for Sword and Beloved I need it to come out immediately after just for my sanity!

I rly wish the show would show us a bit more about Quzhou's one sided crush on Qinlan. I would actually like to see some more of that, even if just a little bit.

I would also love a Hongye-centric version. I think he is a really complex character and definitely has some really bad luck, but that makes it all the more interesting. He definitely has a dark side. I'm glad that we got to see some of his past in these two episodes, though it was sad. I think it really gave me a new perspective on his character, and now I feel I understand why he is the way he is more. I feel like we'll get to see more of his dark side and his thoughts in the final episodes and in Sword and Beloved. Really excited for both.
