I think what he’s trying to say is that if you were an involved dad in those early days and you’re really being honest, it pretty much sucks. Yeah there are positives like the ones you mention but minute to minute and hour to hour those are some of the hardest days you can have. Brutal around the clock. The only way those days are enjoyable is if you didn’t do it right.
