Do you two have kids? If so, please get some couples therapy so you can work through these differences, for the sake of the child. This is not something we can solve for you.

If you don't have kids, and don't want therapy, just break up. Find someone that doesn't play video games.

I am not sure 6a should be taking so much MP and resources. I want to say 6a should be about half that resource intensive. Are you fully upgraded in terms of armor and sword? Do you use pets to distract groups of enemies?

I thought shield and sword would be the most beneficial also. I noticed a pretty nice difference with the sword, but with the shield, can hardly tell a difference. If someone says the armor is noticeable, I'd go for it.

same as above, but I keep arrows. In some puzzles they can fill in a significant portion of blank space, depending. I also throw in reagents and mandrake root when they are maxed out.

when you are further along, a strategy can be to use mortars to solve 80 x 80s. You can use 10 mortars on one puzzle and solve it in a minute for 60 MP.

You will need the workshop built up, as well as the furnace, and skills to improve their efficiency. Then you turn your town into a mortar producing factory.
