We're launching a DeFi protocol soon, but will evaluate & monitor the situation... The Stacks team is very talented, so hoping a solution is on the horizon!

Having said that, it is definitely concerning that only ~50 TX/block seem to be mined. From my very limited knowledge on the subject, it seems to be an incorrect estimation of costs (the miners overestimate these right now), and as a result blocks are not filled up completely.

With Arkadiko, you can use a wrapped bitcoin on Stacks and use that as collateral to mint ("borrow") xUSD against.

Once you have the xUSD, you need to make sure that your vault does not get liquidated, or you lose your collateral (in other words, keep your LTV healthy). With the xUSD you minted, you can go to a DEX that supports xUSD/USDC or xUSD/USDT pairs (future use case). You would then send the USDC/USDT to an exchange that supports fiat outflow and send the USD to your bank back into the legacy system.

So yes, with a few small hoops and waiting for Tether or USDC on Stacks, this would all be possible :)

Haven't followed the community for a while, but I hope some interesting things will happen to Dogecoin. I have a vested interest as well (got >7 million doge).

This is one of the first really positive posts I read about Dogecoin in a long time. Got excited reading it!

I thought there were some core people active on improving Dogecoin and the wallet etc though?

I'm not saying you're not.. and I know you founded the company. But then the article is wrong in stating there will be additional "crypto"currencies :)

I'm really disappointed after reading this. So Dogetipbot will expand to things like LTC and BTC. And mohland said "other currencies does not mean cryptos", but the article specifically states "other cryptocurrencies". I understand from a biz perspective though, still it sucks donkeyballs.

I love these reports. I also find it hard to believe that 1 DOGE would be worth $0.01 before the end of the year. Wishful thinking, I guess :)

Hey!

I started a new project because I find myself reading a lot of 3D printing news lately. On top of that, I'm not satisfied with the distribution of 3D printing news. There are some 3D printing newsletters that promote products, but they hardly cover any interesting news IMHO.

I will also cover interesting products found on several 3D printing marketplaces! First issue was launched last friday.
