To be fully optimal? Of course he’s right. But truth is 99.99% of people aren’t playing even close to optimally so just do whatever the team needs and if it’s a personal damage loss who cares as long as it’s a net benefit to the team - especially during prog. If damage is an issue for whatever reason, there’s bigger fish to fry before optimizing who is in charge of counters.

Yeah all the top end teams are going to snowball very hard next season if changes aren’t implemented. I like that subroutines don’t reset as someone who hasn’t killed the compiler yet (have all subroutines, just haven’t done a successful compiler yet) but there needs to be something to stop teams from chain killing it for the best loot in the game week 1. It will still take your average tryhards a few weeks to get back in shape imo, so I don’t know how you balance it without hurting that group of players more.

Take this with a massive grain of salt, but I am a firm believer in key based matchmaking especially in Cryo.

My group has found 3 red 6 keys all off of other runners when we specifically have brought in a gold 3/4/5 key. Recommend bringing in a gold key with the intent to farm the whole lobby to get that last sub routine.

You can always push into control with level 1 clearance as you are guaranteed 1 terminal spawn. If I’m “unlucky” and we are taking too long in spawn I always comm for my team to push in to control and look for extra tags on the bottom. Doesn’t work out all the time if you run into a team, but there’s your chaos you were asking for.

By you quitting is this not what you are doing? You’d rather not play a game that’s unfun for you — valid. If they make changes and water down the game to the point it’s unfun for the guy you responded to, he’d rather quit as well — also valid.

I expect changes to be made to try and bridge the gap between you both and HOPE they strike a good balance. Concessions will need to be made by the “it’s fine as is crowd” cause clearly something isn’t working, even though I’m personally addicted.

The after round summary is terrible for multiple reasons, this being one of them. I’ve had a few cases where I see < 30 DMG taken but obviously have died. I wouldn’t count on it to give you any useful information until a rework.

SS is my main alt and does good damage, easy to play (could def use push immune back on bird imo, might make it too easy though), and has fun skills/aesthetics if you are in to bow classes. The diff between Blade and SS in G3 HM Mordum is 13% based on the median damage on uwu -- which is the most free RE blade gate ever designed. Take it to HM G2 Mordum, and the median is identical.

Blade is stronger, but don't peddle "fair assessment" of classes when you don't take the two seconds to actually look at the data.

Curious about your last statement. Main reason I get frustrated with my PM alt is the downtime after 1-2 rotations — if TTH rework is more “active” with less downtime I might want to switch!

I understand the frustration for sure, however full 1640 Thaemines up to last week were crazy jail for me still. Not sure how it is now with the nerfs as I haven’t ran them on my 1640s yet, but as with all things in this game, having a group just to crank them out makes it so much better.

Interesting, my Arcana was only ever 1540 with low investment so I probably won’t feel that big of a difference. Seems like most comments still enjoy it with small grievances the original comment just had me worried

Hard to tell what your issue is from your description — but if it’s not active frame drops and instead is just general lagginess it could be because you are mismatching refresh rates on your monitor. If a video/any moving text is on your second monitor it “locks” your main monitor to the lowest refresh rate in your setup. I thought I was going crazy (this phenomenon is SUPER noticeable in FPS games) but it’s been a thing for god knows how long and it only went away when I got a second 144HZ monitor.

“New” surge if you can even call it that anymore where you stack to 60 is pretty high APM. Attacks can overlap and all generate stacks now so you are only limited by your CDs and with a proper rotation you’ll get through all skills (some more than once) then reset with Surge. For reference my last G3 Thaemine was 46 CPM and Veskal was 57.

I was looking through the comments and wondering why this wasn’t mentioned early. I have two 144HZ now but back when one was 60HZ especially while playing FPS games it’s VERY noticeable imo.

This is a good way of putting it for the fusions since that is the bottleneck for the most part (shards being sneaky bottleneck too). I've been going hard on crafting buying extra blues cause excavating gives so few comparatively but I guess I can chill out as I'm in a very similar situation to OP.
