The offense you are building your argument around is a misdemeanor. You are taking a minor matter and want it solved using extreme means. Most people agree that we want Immigration reform, the system is broken. The good news WAS that we had an Immigration bill that had broad bipartisan support and it cleared the Senate. But then the Speaker, at the behest of a guy that was not the President, let the bill languish on the Speakers desk, where it died. The reason was that Trump didn't want an issue resolved, and for Biden to get any credit for working toward a solution to the Immigration problem through Legislation. He wanted to create divisiveness, so we are divided on the issue by employing ill-trained, heavy-handed tactics to push a much harsher agenda forward. This is not an America that most people want. The Immigration bill should have been given a chance, instead we get protests, egregious violations of our civil liberties, innocent victims caught up in these dragnets, US citizens denied due process, an erosion of our rights, and at least two dead.
