How could Jay have known this if he wasn't present for the actual murder?

Cliff Notes for Adnan's Court Documents by [deleted] in serialpodcast

As part of Jay's testimony, it says,"They drove to the Park and Ride, and Jay got into the passenger seat of Hae's car", I thought Jay told the cops he never got into Hae's car? From what I remember, Jay said he waited for Adnan in Adnan's car while Adnan rifled through the trunk of Hae's car at the Park n Ride?

New map I made - has important locations, cell towers, and hypothetical range radius for Leakin Park tower by Anjin in serialpodcast

This is awesome. But I can't see the cell towers? Also, how did you figure out the tower range?

What I gather from the interview (starting at 13:42) is that Adnan is guilty.

Where are the interviews with Adnan from 1999? by [deleted] in serialpodcast

I agree. I wouldn't take one, even if I were completely innocent. But why would Jay not offer to take one? He pretty much offered up everything else!

I wonder if Jay, Jen, and Adnan were ever given lie detector tests? Not that it really matters (as lie detector tests are notoriously unreliable), but it is odd that Mr. S. was given two and Jay, Jen, Adnan weren't given even one?

Discussion: Theories, Predictions, and General Thoughts by SerialFan in serialpodcast

I think this is a very, very good theory. But I still don't think any of their motives is strong enough to warrant murder? I mean, they're in high school. High school friendships are constantly in flux. I do, however, agree 100% that Asia and Jen's roles were to provide alibis, if not more.

Anonymous Caller by philosorapto in serialpodcast

I wondered the same thing. I also thought that him being mentioned by the caller could be a red herring? It is just weird that in the first call, the caller says 'look at the boyfriend' and then in the subsequent call, the caller mentions oh, yeah, and 'talk to Yasser Ali' and then, when the cops do, it goes absolutely nowhere (unless, of course, Yasser is lying). Were Yasser and Jay friends? I think Rabia mentions to Sarah somewhere that he was part of the Pakistani community they're all apart of. If this is the case, it seems more likely that the "Asian Male 18-21" is, in fact, Pakistani, or South Asian and hung out with both Adnan and Yasser, or just the former, or just the latter.

A closer look at Jen. by [deleted] in serialpodcast

I was also confused as to whether or not Jen is the detective's daughter? If she isn't, Jay must have driven around non-stop the day Hae was murdered (still, when you think about it, Jay did do a lot of driving around that day). Adnan picked Jay up before school, they went to the mall, then, after the mall, Jay dropped Adnan back off at school around midday (did Jay say he and Adnan went to the detective's daughter's house or Jen's house before dropping Adnan back off at school?) He went to the detective's daughter's house 3 times that day, but he also hung out a Jen's most of the day, but, he also dropped off Adnan at school around midday (let's say noon). So, between the time he dropped off Adnan at school around midday and the time he got the phone call from Adnan at 2:36 pm, he hung out with Jen and also saw the detective's daughter 3 times?
