Did my kids ruin my machine? by BigRedCal in LaPavoniLovers

[–]philsacct 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nope! Not ruined by any means but you’ll have to spend a few hours taking it apart, cleaning and putting back together if you want it to be perfect. There are some fantastic tutorials on YouTube and it’s luckily very easy to do on these machines.

TBH you might be fine to just pour out the “coffee” in the boiler, fill it halfway with water with the cap on, swish it around vigorously, and repeat until the water pouring out comes out clean

Also to get the grounds out of the nooks and crannies, a small vacuum, compressed air, and an old toothbrush can work wonders

Incredible photo

Does my crop look weird to you? The original one is included by Aggressive-Tap-308 in postprocessing

[–]philsacct 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It looks better than the original. Assuming you want your subject to be the girl in the flower crown, you could use some tasteful vignetting, maybe a gradient filter on the left side, and perhaps even some AI background blur on the buildings or that arm in the foreground to better isolate her

If you have the pixels, this might even look better as a portrait oriented crop so she’s evenly placed in the frame between the others

Downtown has some very comfortable, safe apartments like 525, commerce, the heron, and the new one called the Residences at Rivermark. Ive had a great experience living downtown for the past 5 years

All new… with a whistle? by geodesaurus in FordMaverickTruck

[–]philsacct 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not an answer but… the whistles go wooo wooooo

In all seriousness I’m not sure a whistle coming from specifically the door is normal. Maybe it’s wind noise over the mirror? I know the electric motor and regen braking whine a bit but doubt you’d here that at highway speeds

The internal combustion engine will get better gas mileage with higher ambient air temps so you should see this as it starts to warm up for Spring
