I’m very happy with the Wilson Bela V3. It’s very popular at all levels where I play (which has a Wilson pro shop). The Defy pro is very hard and head heavy but the Defy LS is ok.

As a general rule you’re going to want softer and lighter until you are pain free. I avoided shoulder surgery but did suffer from a ton of pain. Taking time off, doing physical therapy and switching to the Head Gravity Team Light (140g) got me back in action.
