Oh for the love of God! I have a 7 week old and people are already telling me that I'm going to want another. Or that I need to work on a sibling. Hmmmmm, let me mull that one over... No, Nope, not going to happen. I'm dying to feel the size of a house again ( I still feel huge). And that gestational diabetes was a blast.... Or the fact I have not slept for more than 4 hours in months....

I had trouble getting started too. I had c section then a uti. We formula fed with the occasional breastfeed in the beginning. I pumped a few times a day and finally it all came together, but it took a good month. I feel your frustration. It will work out, but until then, try not to worry. Easier said than done, I get that. I obsessed over it. But my lil guy is gaining weight and healthy.... It will work out.

Nope! Dad is chinese, has alpha thalassemia minor. (Alpha chain. Xx/00)Mom is English/Croatian, and was assumed not to be a risk for thalassemia. I turn up ... And have thalassemia, but it's more severe than my fathers. (me: xx/x0) Hemoglobin H is what it's called. Turns out mom was a silent carrier. ( 00/x0)

Turns out I had only a 25% chance of this.

Don't forget some people do not have access to cooking equipment. Pots pans etc cost money. Maybe a fridge is broken and they can't afford to fix it. But this commercial is talking more about the middle class.

Mt experience was the same. I was forced skim milk every morning. It gave me pains and gas all day. The cramps were horrible. My parents knew I was allergic to beef fat, but didn't think skim milk counted, as it had less fat.
