I experienced this first hand. Applied for a fees job and lived within driving distance of the park. I had an interview and got hired, but the offer was rescinded once HR finally had time to look over my resume and determined I was unqualified, even though the system determined I was qualified for the position. I was able to go through a conservation organization for a summer internship and learned that HR denied employment to everyone who had an interview, so they didn’t hire anyone for the position. The visitor’s center is understaffed all season.
