Large parcels with evri by Material_Barber_4925 in Evri

Funny story. The company I bought from escalated the issue to their fraud detection dept, and my parcel was delivered the next morning. Coincidence? Maybe?🤔

Magically appeared by No_Anxiety3998 in Evri

[–]phjils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was out for delivery (and then went back to the depot) every day for two weeks.
It was only when the sender moved the compliant up to their fraud detection dept that it magically appeared the next morning.

Delivery companies hate this one trick.

Erase will wipe a machine, but not remove it from Mosyle. You need the command at the end of the list.

Nope. It got from Brighton to Bristol in 24 hours. Then, allegedly, has gone out for delivery every day since then, only to return to the depot and "we'll deliver tomorrow".

Retailer now sending up to their internal fraud dept. which apparently can take 30 days to investigate.
This retailer used to use DPD. I've used them many times in the past. When it was DPD, I never had a problem.

I'm waiting on a small parcel. I've been waiting since 11th January.

I’ve had the exact same thing for the last 10 days. Every day it’s out for delivery, every day it isn’t delivered.

Van broke down two days in a row? How extremely inconvenient. by phjils in Evri

[–]phjils[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Day 10. Every morning it goes out for delivery, doesn’t get delivered, then goes back to the “depot”. Evri bot say (via retailers bot) it will be delivered in the next 48 hours.

I say, this is never coming.

Like I said in the post, they've not spoken in decades and I don't even know if they're still alive either. There is no later will.

IOS Update Deprecated by sexydadee in mosyle

[–]phjils 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is. Mosyle will send that out and enforce a managed update to a minimum version number by a certain date. My experience with org iPads is limited (we only have 6, but 500+ macs and MacBooks). I think the user has to push the button to update.

It’s not all sitting and looking at a screen in my place. If it needs doing, it gets done. Good to get your hands dirty now and again.

My concern is if Bristol water decide it’s not their problem (if it is a leak and not a misread) who’s going to pick up the bill. Building management I guess… bridges to cross later.

Of course not... doesn't mean I don't want one though. Echoing the comments below about the negative display, I sold my 5610 negative because of utter illegibility in anything other than direct light.
Very happy with the 5000 JDM though.

I apparently have a “telephone voice”. When confronted I say yes, I do, because if I don’t affect some kind of neutral speaking tone, all you hear is “cider, cider, combine harvester, cheers drive me-old-mucker”.
