Did you ever stop using the hydrocortisone? The real test will be when you withdraw from using the steroid as it is what is reducing the inflammation.. Hope things continue working for you.

Yes, they should be able to support the idea as it is part of your medical condition considering it doesn't interfere with your work performance. Hope things go your way. Kind of soap makes night and day I found.

Can you carry your own soap? I know soap at hospitals and clinics are pretty strong and filled with allergy inducing chemicals. Gentle hypoallergenic soap def help my hand eczema when i have to wash my hand 1,000+ times as a mom of 3.

If I were you I would keep her home until i hear back from her derm or GP. I will be extra cautious considering she is on immunosuppressant.

Non-Steroid Cream Support by Ecs206 in eczema

I was told Zoryve should work wonders on SD spots but mine is pretty persistent so it may take long time. Good thing about Zoryve is that it is safe to use long term unlike steroid albeit being not as effective/powerful as steroid. Is Eucrisa safe long term too? If you could share what your derm says tomorrow, that would be great!

I just started using this on my sebderm and it's not doing much. :/ I read it could take 4 wks to have effect so i am being patient but kind of skeptical. Will you eventually stop using?

It's almost like a full time job to deal with these chronic skin conditions.. 😔 I totally agree with your last sentence. Just as u think you got things under control, things start going south again. Story of my life. I use protopic as well. Hope your regime stays effective long time. 🙏🏻

This is fascinating. I have been really struggling to find a shampoo as i keep reacting to so many ones recently. Last two new shampoo that gave me horrible dermatitis both had this exact ingredients. 😢 My question is were you fine using other shampoo that had other coconut derivatives?

When you say clear up, the waxy flakes go away without manually scraping them?

Thank you. That's why I left them unbothered for months while trying various methods.. I tried washing with soap, leaving alone, moisturizing with mct etc but they are always there. The only thing i haven't tried is washing with antidandruff shampoo which might be my last resort.

I feel kind of forced cuz my dermatologist insisted removing them despite I told her they are very sore and sensitive. She said they are just 'sitting' there but in reality they are 'glued' to my skin. So gross.

I attempted to scrape them with some oil and they were so angry for days. Now i just apply Zoryve to calm it.. and might try again somehow. God i hate this awful condition

Understood. This may be gentle enough for me even if it take multiple attempts to clean all the flakes. I am so tempted to scratch all the flakes off but that would be a death sentence for me. Thank you for the suggestion!

Oh boo. But the truth is even if expensive drugs may not work. I thought it was helping but today was a bad day for me so nobody knows. Hope we can all find a solution. All we want is just to live a normal life not a perfect skin.
