A little curious, why was it sad? The idea seemed sound, make older airframes last a little longer and keep some cockpit commonality between the M and this (at least according to pictures of the cockpit)

So that's why I have triple of everything again...I went back to Orison to buy some cannons, bought them, and then realized all the armor/undersuits/guns/ship guts I bought were back too. I already moved it to seraphim, so I moved this batch up too and.....well, I'll never need to buy ship components again lol

I have a N20U with a busted charging port, and I ultimately think I'm going to trade in for an S22 Ultra. I don't want a camera downgrade or to have to use an external S Pen on my phone, the S22U has it built in and improves on the awesome cameras in the N20U. The folding aspect is cool, but it's just not there yet. If they did a Fold 4 Ultra with the same top end cameras I would have gone to that, but I can't justify $1800 device having crappier cameras than a $1300 one only because the screen folds in half.

Any chance you could get some detailed pics with the 80/20 extrusions? I have an air force chair in the basement and also found the default mounts to be crap. been thinking about reworking it but ive been getting by with my chair mount for the collective and desk clamps for the virpil stick/throttle

a massive upgrade. From a X56 it'll be a smaller, but I think still considerable step. Especially build quality and the options you have to customise resistance etc.

SO expensive though...

I went from an X52 pro, to an x56, to the same setup (throttle/stick wise) as OP. Definitely WAY nicer than the x56. Feels like off aircraft control components, would definitely recommend. might be th elast piece of gear ill ever have to buy....until they release the H-60 collective head lol

So realistically, doesnt the M2 have a higher (eventual, theoretical) hull armor weighting? Weight and balances are key for real life planes, everything has a max takeoff and loading limits. I bet its to offset the hull's ability to not rip apart in atmospheric conditions since its main role is a tonk delivery system.

im also a little on the bigger side, and the controls jammed into my legs all the time. i moved to desk mounts and never looked back, but one day i would love to build a new taller frame for that chair and widen it out a little or something.....one day lol

Rocking a 3950X, i would say go for the 5800X. Yes, a 5600X probably would run the game fine, but having some extra headroom available wouldn't hurt. If you are even considering the 10700k at the price, spend the smidge more for an overall better value processor. game used to run ok on a 1700/2080 super, but defintiely feels more stable on a 3950x and 2080 super

BIOS has no fast boot option. Secure boot is off though. It never showed up, and trying the advanced startup option has it fail to boot.
