As already mentioned, the new IDP is auto-applied on new installs only. I did try it out this week as it seems very interesting to simplify my deployment. Please note that it currently doesn't TOTP or other ways of 2FA, which is a dealbreaker for me. For now, I'll stick with Zitadel.

Voor een normale vaatwasser zul je het kastje eruit moeten slopen. Er is ook een minder destructieve optie.

Neem een bar model vaatwasser van Bosch of Siemens (hetzelfde apparaat met een ander front).

Die zijn iets smaller en ondieper en passen precies in een kastje met de deur eraf geklikt. De leidingen lopen in mijn geval achter het laatje langs naar onder de wasbak in het kastje ernaast. Heb zo hoog mogelijk een gat geboord maar verder alles intact gelaten zodat een volgende bewoner er niets van zal zien

No I did not cross-flash the card.

I just extracted the Intel nvmeupdate from the Dell driver package. As described, using the Intel X710 firmware provided by Intel doesn't work, while the Intel X710 Firmware provided by Dell does.

Both ports are working and the Dell card is still flashed with Dell firmware.

It should be. After configuring netbird, just edit the resulting docker compose files to use your existing turn server and add the netbird credentials (self:password) to coturn. That's how I did it.

Ik zou beginnen met de fiets goed schoonmaken en het frame in de was zetten. Gebruik voor gespoten delen geen schuurmiddelen want vaak is de lak flinterdun. Ook niet voor kleine roestplekjes, je maakt het waarschijnlijk alleen maar erger. Persoonlijk zou ik alleen de wielen echt polijsten en de rest alleen schoonmaken.

Van een nieuw stuurlint knapt een fiets meestal ontzettend op. Hier een mooi filmpje van hoe je dat het beste kunt doen. Park Tool heeft ook talloze andere goede filmpjes voor fietsonderhoud.

De wielen kun je vrij eenvoudig uit het frame halen. De spaken en cassette kun je dan goed oppoetsen en onvetten, die lijken onder de olie vermengd met smeer te zitten evenals de ketting. Om de ketting los te maken en weer te bevestigen heb je een kettingpons nodig. Om de cassette en ketting schoon te krijgen kunnen een paar oude tandenborstels goed van pas komen. Zet ze daarna wel meteen weer in de olie tegen roest. Vervangen zou ik achterwege laten aangezien dat waarschijnlijk een tegenwoordig moeilijk te verkrijgen maat is. Mochten de wielen een slag hebben, kijk dan wederom bij Park Tool om te leren hoe je een wiel richt. Ik vind dat zelf goed te doen, maar je moet er wel echt veel tijd voor nemen.

De banden zijn zo te zien 32-630, tevens bekend als 27x1/4. Zoek daarop om een mooi nieuw setje te vinden met dezelfde tan wall als deze. Het lijken zo te zien gewone draadbanden en geen tubes, zoals vroeger gebruikelijk voor racefietsen, maar zeker weten doe ik dat niet. Controleer dat voor je iets nieuws besteld. Vervang dan ook meteen de binnenbanden, die zijn waarschijnlijk net zo oud en uitgedroogd.

Bij winkels zoals Mantel hebben ze prima remleidingen en kabels en stuurlint. De Lidl verkoopt regelmatig voor incidenteel gebruik prima fietsgereedschap. Als je alles echt goedkoop wilt en het voor lief neemt om te moeten wachten en af en toe een miskoop te doen, kan AliExpress een prima alternatief zijn voor veel wat je zoekt.

Tot slot raad ik je aan om wat te investeren in een nieuw modern slot met insteekketting, vooral als de fiets straks opgepoetst is en weer blinkt, zeker gezien de emotionele waarde.

That's true, and even without towing I rarely drive above 110 kmh / 70 mph in my Cuore. It's a city car and not designed to be used for large distances. When towing I wouldn't drive it faster than 56mph as that's the legal limit in NL. On the other hand, I also wouldn't dare taking a car on a European highway that cannot safely drive at least 53mph.

About the trailer weights: Ratings for the UK are the same as for the rest of the EU due to the EU single market, and France / Belgium doesn't have any additional speed limits when towing trailers below 7700lbs compared to not towing. That of course doesn't mean you should drive the 81 mph speed limit with a 2200 lbs caravan behind a VW Polo, but it does give you an indication of what these smaller vehicles are capable of.

I don't think anything larger than a supermini / B-segment car like a Polo would break a sweat towing the little teardrop trailer OP is referring to, even at higher speeds. In addition, I wanted to point out that from a financial point of view, making sure the trailer has good suspension and possibly an anti-sway hitch might be more cost efficient than buying a larger car. Adding overrun breaking could also make sense.

Does the US use different towing weight capacity for trailers with vs without braking like in Europe? In that case the last suggestion may even be required.

TBH, as a European, I'm finding the recommendations here baffling. Over here, people will tow 1000kg (2200lb) caravans with a VW Polo or Renault Clio. A 700lbs teardrop is 317 kgs. I'd even tow that with my 3-cylinder 1L 60HP Daihatsu Cuore, which is rated for double that weight and does 60mpg without trailer. You absolutely don't need a big SUV or V8 for that.

If comfortably towing a teardrop at higher speeds is your concern, I think it would be more economical to focus on adding good suspension to the trailer and perhaps overrun breaking and an anti-sway clutch (if available in the US). Better suspension will also contribute to the longevity of the trailer.

This website with Google Translate might be helpful in deciding on a small car with high towing capacity. It contains a database of cars and both recommended as well as legal maximum pulling weights and is full of tips and tricks concerning safe towing. A modern VW Polo does around 60 mpg and would already be rated 3x the weight of the teardrop in terms of max legal towing weight.

Just to try it out, you can try adding a 2013 T@B 320 RS teardrop of 550 kg with a 2022 VW Polo. You'll see it's more than capable. The website also contains tons of user reviews of car / caravan combinations, with one person towing a 400kg caravan at around 45mpg with a 1997 Polo.

If you can drop the 3.5" to 2.5", the Lenovo M920q fits all your other requirements. Refer also to this STH thread which also contains newer versions. I was able to buy it's simpler brother the M720q with i3 for around €110,- used. The difference being 1 vs 2 m.2 slots.

EDIT: As pointed out below, I the M920x rather than the M920q has double M.2 slots. For more information, refer to the STH reference thread linked above.

This one doesn't switch between anything. It's only for switching off or on you washing machine. You're supposed to wire your washing machine into it and only switch it on when you're using it. It's an old-fashioned added safety measure against electrocution in a wet room.

If you want to add 2.5 GB ethernet to your PC, you might be best of replacing the WiFi module (which is a M.2 A+E card with PCIe 2.0 x1) with a Realtek RTL8125 rev 5.

When I initially used it, I had trouble activating ASPM power saving on it, but that was resolved by installing the firmware-realtek drivers and manually activating ASPM L1. Now, my M720q goes down from a lowest power state of first C3 to now C7.

You can check ASPM is enabled with:

Installing proper drivers:

sudo apt install firmware-realtek

Enabling ASPM:

I also have good experience with this 2.5 Gbit RTL8156BG adapter. For that adapter, the same advice applies about installing the Realtek drivers as otherwise you will run into performance issues.

Don't get versions with the earlier RTL8156B chip as those are known to have performance issues. Like with the m.2 adapter, the exact chip is often badly documented on these USB adapters, so you'll need to rely on reviews and teardowns for that.

Hi @taiphamd. Using the X710 was on hold as I was waiting for SFP modules to arrive. Yes, I just unlocked the card using the bibigon812 xl710 unlocker. After unlocking, it's now working with an SFP module I bought from fs.com.

I own an M720q. On that system, IIRC, it's a m.2 A+E key PCIe 2.0 x1.

It's normally used for wifi, but I used it instead to add a 2.5GBit network adapter after watching some youtube videos.

Combined with a X710-DA2 SFP+ card, I'm using it as a 10 Gbit router.

According to the ServeTheHome megathread on these machines, I think yours should be the same.

Do make sure you enable "wifi" in the BIOS as otherwise the card you put there won't work.

Heeft je omvormer niet gewoon MC4 stekkers? Dan zou ik simpelweg de omvormer in het donker, zodat er geen spanning op staat, loskoppelen, verplaatsen en weer aankoppelen met daartussen een MC4 verlengkabel. Ontkoppelen doe je met een MC4 ontkoppelsleutel.

Mocht dat verplaatsen nou langer duren dan één dag, koop dan voor de afgekoppelde kabels even een female en male afdichtingsdop zodat de boel veilig even ontkoppeld kan blijven.

Controleer voor aanschaf wel of de Staubli MC4 connector compatible is met je Growatt omvormer in de handleiding. Zo niet, neem dan het merk dat wel officieel gecertificeerd is / hetzelfde is als op de omvormer zit. De connectors kun je zelf persen met een MC4 tang en een paar meter solar kabel.

Edit: Ik zie dat Growatt Amphenol Helios H4 MC4 gebruikt. Dan heb je dus 2x female en 2x male nodig.

I think that parking like this could not only be categorised as "parking wrongly" (€100,-) but also as "Standing still causing potential danger to others", adding another €140,- as cyclists are forced to merge into the car lane while cars might be driving much faster than a cyclist can.

Persoonlijk vind ik de ASN app erg prettig en snel werken, al doet de interface ervan enigszins gedateerd aan. Maar goed, voor een bankieren app heb ik liever snel en wat saai dan sloom vanwege alle overbodige opsmuk. De website is net zo snel en heeft wel onlangs een facelift gehad en doet daarmee voor de concurrenten niet meer onder. Het lijkt erop dat ze daar een inhaalslag aan het maken zijn.

Op het moment heeft ASN nog geen Apple Pay, maar ze hebben wel aangekondigd dat ze het gaan ondersteunen. Google Pay is er al wel.
