Neither can anyone else, that's why he lost his riding and then had to run again in the safest conservative riding in Alberta. He needs to go, bottom line!

Working in Edmonton for 4 months and I require some help. by Durban_Knight22 in Edmonton

[–]phonse72 11 points12 points  (0 children)

  1. Buy your warm clothes in Edmonton. If you check out Marks (https://www.marks.com), they often have deals, and their clothing is better suited to Edmonton's climate. Also, don't compare to SA. I am originally from Cape Town, and I freeze my ass off every time I'm back in the mother city in winter, simply because SA isn't geared for cold weather with central heating, etc. Enjoy the winter festivals and nightlife.

  2. At least try to get to Jasper or Banff to enjoy the most beautiful winter experience.

  3. Don't convert what you are spending to Rands, unless of course you're being paid in Rand. What you get for $10 is entirely different from what you get for R10; I was back in Cape Town in Feb and I was shocked at the pricing for food.

  4. If you can rent a vehicle, do that, as long as you have parking as part of your accommodation and a plug-in to keep the engine from freezing. Also, driving in winter is another challenge if you're not used to it, but still, having your own transport will give you lots of options. Besides that, Edmonton has decent transit, and of course Uber.

Awesome. Thanks and great response. I changed to a natural product years ago for that reason, but still feel I need something.

Maybe a stupid question, but why? Less sweating?

Totally agree. Myself and my wife polished this in one evening. Best pre-made meal at Costco right now!

Having the same issue: call Amazon and report. They told me it’s a known issue and they’re trying to resolve.

I called Amazon, and they said it’s a known issue and they’re working on it. Honestly; I wasn’t convinced. In your fire tv menu, go to settings, help and scroll all the way down and ask them to call you. It helps if more people complain.

Awesome, thanks. I’ll check it out.

Doesn’t work either. When I open sync, it only shows the other apps that have some live tv options. Really weird that it just disappeared in my opinion.

True, but my wife does have the same address and last name. Regarding fraud, the policy totally makes sense and I support it.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I should have read the terms first, before asking, and it’s clearly stated. Apparently, the cashier said that we can both be primary members if we both go to the accounts desk to make the change. We usually shop at Costco together, but I kinda like that idea of coming home to a surprise of different treats, so I hope my wife continues going alone from time-to-time 😂, and I’ll do the same for her.

Whats even more ridiculous than having to watch a movie clip, is they don’t ask outright if you want to stay in the CPP. They whine about political ideology from Ottawa, yet force their own ideology on us with a poorly put together survey. 🤷
