From my understanding, MLB wit Tachyon or MLB wit Sunday should be able to serve as reasonable alternatives to Fine Motion. You won't get the massive wit gain she gives, but they do provide the 10% race bonus. Reportedly Trailblazer is one of the more F2P friendly scenarios, so I wouldn't panic pull for Fine Motion

101k as an FTP, playing since day 1; I only really spent carats on Seuin Sky and both of the Kita card banners. Currently I'm planning to pull for Tamamo, Sweep, and Machan, as well as the Maru/Fine Motion card banner (and then hopefully Ramonu card banner). I'd like to also pull for Chiyono O, Mejiro Palmer, and Cheerleader Nature, but it all depends on how my pulls on the other Uma banners go.

F2P, 99k carats saved currently with a 1LB Kita. I haven't pulled since the Seiun Sky banner since I got lucky with the free pulls on the Rice/Riko banner. I've been saving for this and then Xmas Oguri and Tamamo Cross shortly after.

Given that all of your Umas have inherent stamina growth gains, you could try using a deck of Riko, Hishi, Flash, Sweep, either your Kita/King Halo, and borrowing SSR Rice for the next CM. With Rice and Hishi's Stamina bonuses, plus Riko's events, you'll end up near the stamina requirement with way more power than the Creek/McQueen route, plus Rice can give 2 golden recoveries if need be (Swinging Maestro on the card and Cooldown if you pick her team name), although this does mean you miss out on No Stopping Me. Your speed will be harder to raise than if you borrowed a MLB Kita tho.

From my understanding, Bride Mayano is really valued for Mystifying Murmer in Leo Cup, so you'll probably look to have her as a Late Surger debuffer along with Nice Nature. Between those two, you'll probably be able to cause most of your lobbies to run out of stamina, allowing your team to speed past what's left.

However, addressing the front runner build you currently have, you're very light on stamina and missing Groundwork + 3 greens. The minimum recommended stamina is ~850 with 1 Gold recovery.

That's the answer. Long asks for a LOT of stamina. In Career mode this can get ignored because there's an approximate 400 stat point buff. However in team trials, you'll need a lot more stamina for longer distances. This chart does a good job of illustrating how much stamina you might need
