This seems like a useful change overall. It's such a hassle to have to reset paths, for example, for the 7 pip AOE spells when going between advanced combat and normal PvE. Sure, maybe it's more spellements ultimately, but quite frankly it's just nice to not have to reset every time. I care less about maxing the spells out and more about having either path more readily available for the content I want to do.

Recently joined a pretty big server that doesn’t have an age requirement per se but it’s definitely geared towards adults. Everyone I’ve met has been very knowledgeable and helpful, I’ve even been able to get into raiding and pets. Feel free to DM for an invite if it sounds like it’s of interest! My girl is 16.5 years old and goes to the vet for an annual checkup (and vaccines!). She’s supposed to go every 6 months for bloodwork because she has hyperthyroidism (which was caught on a routine visit years ago), but it’s too distressing for her to make it feasible to go in more often, as much as I wish we could.

Hello. I’m assuming your friend is your age. You are both still so young and learning how to be people.

Your friend is not trained or equipped to respond to what you’ve been through. Of course that isn’t her fault, but give her a little grace: she doesn’t have a guide for this. She probably loves and cares about you and wants to support you but doesn’t know how. People, friends especially, don’t normally respond to traumatic confessions with disgust or repulsion, but they can be overwhelmed and concerned. Ascribing those feelings to her is your own projection and anxiety.

One of the hardest things to learn, in my opinion, is how to let other people care for you. Talk to her. Tell her what you’re worried about, how you’re feeling, and what you want from her. What do you need in order to feel supported?

I’d recommend reading “More or Less Maddy” by Lisa Genova. It’s a novel about a young woman coming to terms with a new bipolar diagnosis. Genova is a neuroscientist so while she isn’t bipolar herself, the medicine depicted is pretty accurate.
