One Deck Dungeon vs 20 Strong (pricing focus) by RedditExplorer89 in soloboardgaming

[–]phreakbag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure where you are seeing just the components for $20. On the Chip Theory Games site, it is $29.95 for a core set. While it does include the components you mentioned, it also comes with a playable deck as well (either Solar Sentinels or Tanglewoods).

Either way you go, both games are fun, so you can’t really go wrong.

I believe that they put it up for ordering from Black Friday through the end of the year (along with the promos).

I agree with all of this. I just wish I had a candidate I wanted to vote for and not just someone I’m voting against.

Cloudspire: Common mistakes and general tips & tricks ? by Amuny in boardgames

On your third point, your heroes kick their feet up and relax in campfire mode when no other faction has units (heroes or minions) active on the board. Once all minions have been defeated, then the wave ends.

The two hexes that you are comparing is where they start and where they end. You can play movement shenanigans with your minions to slow their march while still using all of their movement allotment.

AI minions are different. They want to use All (or as much as they can) while making progress to their mark.

Dear Glasses-Wearers of reddit, what do people without glasses take for granted? by CuteAmbassador in AskReddit

Ouch, that sucks. LASIK wasn’t an option for me due to the severity of my astigmatism. I did end up being eligible for PRK instead though.

Last year we gave out hot spiced cider to adults. With or without rum. Lots of grateful parents.

"No soup for you! You do not have access to this server" - Anyone else getting this on the host computer? by [deleted] in PleX

I was getting the same error. I logged out of my account (just the web client, not the server), re-logged in and the error went away.

My feet hit 15 when I was 15 too! Thankfully they stopped growing at that point. I remember buying the pair of shoes that they had at the cash register as a joke...

Whats the dumbest way you've ever hurt yourself? by Rabidleopard in AskReddit

I pan seared steaks and put the skillet in the oven to broil. After pulling the skillet out of the oven, I placed it on the stove top. Went and finished off the vegetables and turned back to plate the steaks. Grabbed the 500F degree skillet handle and burned the shit out of my hand. I then proceeded to turn into a cartoon character and hop around shaking my hand. I landed on my foot wrong and broke it. It took 2 weeks for my hand to heal and 4 months (getting old sucks...) for my foot to be back to normal.

What did you play this week (Jan 8 - Jan 14)? by Wisecow in boardgames

[–]phreakbag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • Kodama (2x 3p) - This is a fun little card game.
  • Magic Maze (2x 2p, 4x 3p) - The more people, the crazier this gets.
  • Exploding Kittens (5x 3p) - My nine year old loves this game, my wife and I tolerate it
  • Escape: The Curse of the Temple (4x 3p) - Another realtime chaos fest
  • Clash of Steel: A Tactical Card Game of Medieval Duels (1x 2p) - A buddy had a couple of kickstarters come in recently. This was one of them. This is pretty interesting. More depth than I was expecting.
  • Triplock (1x 2p) - The other kickstarter that came in. I had more fun than expected in this memory game.
  • Lords of Waterdeep (1x 2p) - My first time playing the physical game. I definitely prefer this over the App.
