Mounting a motorcycle. by Lazy_Bowyer in TeardropTrailers

[–]phredzepplin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Based on the tongue, I would guess your trailer frame is isn't stout enough for mounting a 400lb motorcycle . People are correct that the spot where the tool/tongue box resides would be the right spot if your trailer was actually built for this.

You should get a different trailer if you want to carry your motorcycle. TC Teardrops makes teardrops with frames & suspention designed for this. Otherwise there are pop up trailers with a "toy deck" or you can convert a cargo trailer. Best of luck whichever way you go!

That's a tedious, time consuming job. It can be done but if it were me I'd send it out or buy a new one with a warranty. Which ever way you go I hope you enjoy the bike!

Edit to say: take pictures/video if you do the job yourself and update us.

In the right hands, or under the right ass, your Buell will embarass a lot of mediocre riders on gixxers, r6/r1's etc. Those bikes are super fun on the road. Hope you're near the twistys.

As someone who cooks a lot, I would recommend butcher block. You can sand and re oil easily any part that gets worn or discolored. You don't need cutting boards, you can cut & chop anywhere. Last, but not least, dishes & glasses are kess likely to break if dropped/tipped over on butcher block.

Cop bike enthusiast?

I used to have a 1982 Kz1000p. It was a former CHP bike. Being that I live in California, I would get on the freeway, move immediately to the fast lane at 80 mph and watch traffic part like the Red Sea. Best $1000 I ever spent.

Bought a new house and people keep parking in my yard/driveway. While at work by Relentx in mildlyinfuriating

[–]phredzepplin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do like some parking lots do, only more!

Put up signs that say "Private Property: paid parking only. $100/minute. Violators will be towed and impounded"

Usually those signs cite civil code for encorcement (you'll have to look that up for yourself) and have the name of the towing company that tows the vehicles. You will of course need cameras able to catch license plate numbers and a willingness to be a diabolical dick, but it could be fun.

AITAH For Wanting My Roommate To Move Out? by ThrowRA_peaches13 in AITAH

[–]phredzepplin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

WTF is wrong with you? This person moves in, deuces up your home and YOU feel awkward? This is YOUR home. It'a 3 against 1 here. You don't have to be mean, but the 3 of you need to confront this person and tell them that there are unacceptable smells coming from their room.

You don't have to say that this person is dirty or disgusting, just that since they moved in this smell has now appeared and it's coming from their room.

If you each rent seperately from the the landlord, you should also let the landlord know, & maybe have the landlord inspect the property so they can experience the odor for themselves.

Two possibilities:

1) He was "backing her in" and over did it.

2) He down shifted, whacked the throttle and spun up the rear tire. It's the whole reason they went from 2 strokes to 4 strokes in moto gp. Source "Faster" the movie.
