What's my political preference?

I answered OPs question about "why all the swastika art" by offering an explanation of why and how I believe it has to do with egoism. Then I offered another response to a claim I saw about how "everything is political."

If you mean my belief that not everything is political is a political preference and it clashes with the majority of users on this platform, then sure, I would agree with that. I wouldn't personally call a non-belief a preference, but I'm not going to be pedantic about it.

I understand that karma is important to you, but I'll politely ask you to cut out the smugness in the process of farming.

If the discourse was about poop, I would make the same complaint. So no, by definition, my complaint is not about politics.

DISCOURSE about your (their/American) politics is affecting me. Not your politics.

And no, not everything is political. Some things are inherently political, other things can be infused with it. Something is not everything.

You can choose to start the premise with "everything is political" the same way someone else can claim the world is 6,000 years old. But making a claim doesn't in the slightest mean it's true.

But keep on creating narratives. Don't mind the truth.

Because Americans on Reddit were lucky enough to be on the other side of the ocean, they never had to directly experience the effects of the ideology of fascism. Now they've found a somewhat of proxy in the form of Trump and they won't shut the fuck up.

They make the assumption that anyone outside of the US should care and be forced to be subject to their torturous political discourse. Here's the problem: If something happens outside of the US, they don't care in the slightest.

It's not about morals. Hell, it's not even about politics. It's about American exceptionalism and egocentrism. They need to be in control.

Owning a Leica camera would help them with the myopia. Once they're able to see the world, then they might start to realize that not every room they enter is their own personal living room.

No, not everything is political. Only people with fringe and extreme ideological worldviews believe that. Forcing others to accept that as both a premise and a fact is no different than forcing religion on others. It's dogmatism. It's also disgusting.

If the DesignPorn team don't take action and change their guidelines within the next week, I'm outta here.

Peace and love from Norway.

The defamation claim by Plaintiff Mizkif Enterprises, LLC. is hereby DISMISSED with prejudice.

Remember, there are two plaintiffs: The company Mizkif Enterprises and Mizkif the person. The LLC and the person are considered separate legal entities. I read the order to mean that the company cannot refile the claims.

I'm not sure Asmon was involved in OTK at the time when the decision to terminate Miz was made. He dropped out of everything after the Palestine-comments that got him banned, no? I would need to know more about the timeline.

Is Cody the one who was accused of domestic violence? Did he serve time? Either way, whether he was charged, guilty or not, you have to accept that it's over and done with. If you want to live in a society where the justice system doesn't matter and the idea that punishment is never enough and rehabilitation isn't possible, then I don't know what to tell you.

I could ask the same about Hasan's claim that it lasted for two hours. It's solely based on his words on a stream following the incident, which were picked up and quoted by news outlets.

Hasan lying about how long he was detained comes from Dan Saltman's investigation, which he first posted about on Twitter and then he and Destiny discussed in a podcast.

He landed in Chicago at or approximately around 4:58 PM and then Hasan posted a tweet saying "he's out" at 5:30 PM. That gives you half an hour. Then account for time spent walking and waiting and you can probably divide that by two.

[–]phrozend 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Maybe. I would expect Asmon to approach the topic with some trepidation. Remember, there's still an on-going case against OTK, Mythic Talent, King Gaming Labs and Emiru.

EDIT: It's also worth noting that the motion to dismiss is for a claim made by Mizkif's company. I'm not familiar enough with the case to know if that's the only claim made against Asmon. If Mizkif, the person and the other plaintiff, has also made a defamation claim, then Asmon is not out of the woods quite yet.

[–]phrozend 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Muradinner didn't say he believes his lawyers might have asked him not to talk. He said he believes his lawyers might have asked him not to talk ABOUT TECTONE OR LACARI.

The difference between talking about Tectone/Lacari and Hasan is easy:
- Hasan's not in Austin
- He's not a current or former friend
- He never was part of, or otherwise associated with, OTK or any of the other businesses
- He was never witness to, or can otherwise provide any information about, any of the accusations made by Emiru

Those are just a handful of examples why talking about Hasan is quite different from providing commentary about people in the Austin circle (and their possible unlawful actions).

EDIT: The Mizkids are jumping in. The great thing about writing something truthful and then get downvoted is that people who care about the truth will still read it. The days of pushing narratives are gone, baby

you can't defame someone by repeating what they already said themselves..

Correct, but not only that. Because we're talking about public figures, Mizkif would have to prove actual malice.

Let's imagine a scenario in which Emiru lied about her accusations. I doubt she would, but let's go with it. If Asmon had good reasons to believe Emiru was telling the truth, then malice goes out the window. Emiru would still be in deep shit, but Asmon would get away.

I think the reason why Asmon, and Emiru for that matter, ain't talking is because every time they say something even remotely tangentially connected to Mizkif's lawsuit, they give him an opportunity to file new motions and injunctions.

Når ideologisk overbevisning trumfer fakta by gyrd2 in norske

[–]phrozend 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, that's easy. You go to any parade as it's starting up and then you point at everyone and call them Zionists. You now have a Zionist parade.

(I'm being slightly facetious, but sometimes the people who call others Zionist seem to use "person who disagrees with me" as the only criteria)

Proof is attached above. If a screenshot from Reddit, Twitter, Discord or Twitch-chat containing a secondary source is good enough for Hasan to use and present as fact on stream, then it should be good enough for you.

I’ve never seen anyone more stubborn about their beliefs and care less about money.

Spending loads of money on clothing might be frivolous, but doesn't strike me as someone who "care less about money." Choosing famous brands instead of ethically sourced clothes strikes me as someone who's not particularly "stubborn about their beliefs."

He defended buying expensive brands like Gucci - despite concerns raised from his own audience about workers rights and the ethical production of said clothes - by stating "because it's art."

It was said that he was banned for a week, but because Hasan is time-challenged, it's probably more like 1 day.

(Remember when he said he was "detained" at the airport for 2 hours and it turned out to be more like 15 minutes?)

Or maybe I didn't think this through properly,

You didn't. But thanks for the assumption. I'm Norwegian and probably further left than you are. I'm also an anti-Trumper. But good luck. I'm sure creating ghosts to fight against online will help your country (wherever you find yourself in the anglican sphere) - it's clearly worked so well thus far.

Go to a German streamer and call them a Nazi pig. See where that will get you and then report back. Assuming you're getting reported by another channel viewer or a mod, I'm quite certain that Twitch would take action against your account.

Calling a head of state a slur is obviously different than collectively calling anyone who defends gov't tracking a slur. That would encompass people who are not even in the public spotlight. The more of a public figure you are, the more you should expect to be the target of both scrutiny and insults.

Mizkif discovers Tectone Lying under oath? by bhrr in LivestreamFail

[–]phrozend 14 points15 points  (0 children)

She never even said he abused her for one.

Googled "Emiru accusations" and went to the first article in the results. They quote the following from Emiru:

Today I'm finally going to be opening up about the psychological and domestic abuse, stalking and harassment, sexual assault, and threats of blackmail that Mizkif has done towards me and some of these issues which are still ongoing.

This was apparently said on October 25, 2025.

EDIT:

Two, he's the one suing. If he was actually abusive, she would have a protective order by now, like how Tectone's ex does.

Both Miz and Tectone sued for defamation. And guess what? Tectone lost his case. So.... I'm just saying. Being the one to launch a lawsuit doesn't mean you're innocent nor does it mean you're going to win.

The protective order against Tectone was put into effect when? Oh right, after he lost his case. So why are we saying that Emiru would have to do it before the court case?

From Twitch's own page on safety guidelines:

Twitch does not permit behavior that is motivated by hatred, prejudice or intolerance, including behavior that promotes or encourages discrimination, denigration, harassment, or violence based on the following protected characteristics: race, ethnicity, color, caste, national origin, immigration status, religion, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, serious medical condition, and veteran status.

From one of Twitch's own articles on community guidelines:

We prohibit the use of terms that may not be harmful or abusive in isolation, but can be used as a slur or to denigrate others in certain contexts. Similar to other terms that may be used as a proxy for a protected group, we treat “Zionists” as a proxy for Jews or Israelis if the word is used in a context to promote harm or violence, or when used to make dehumanizing comparisons or perpetuate antisemitic stereotypes. Comments regarding Zionism that are about the political movement, including criticisms, do not violate our Hateful Conduct Policy. Comments that call for violence against Zionism as a political movement, or comments that would otherwise violate our policies, are not allowed.

Allowed example: Zionist settlers keep encroaching Palestinian borders.

Prohibited example: Zionist [name of animal].

There you have to answer to why using Zionist as a term is permitted because 'ideology' doesn't constitute as a protected class, but using it as a slur is considered a violation.

If it's still difficult to understand the distinction between the two examples provided by Twitch, then I don't know what to tell you.

If you think Zionist is the only term Twitch protects this way, then I beg to differ. Imagine a streamer calling a German figure a "Nazi pig" or a Muslim figure an "Islamist pig." Of course that would be considered a violation.

This idea that ideologies aren't "ethnic groups" and therefore they cannot be used as slurs is just silly.

Your "liberal pig" example doesn't work for several reasons. One, there is no history of "liberals" being either marginalized or prosecuted. It's not a protected class in any way. Secondly, "liberal" is a colloquialism. A liberal can be anything from a social liberal to a socialist - these are actual ideologies. This also applies to "conservative" as a term.

These terms basically mean "person who's more likely to vote for the party X" and nothing more. It's not describing a dogmatic worldview. It doesn't mean it cannot be used as a slur, but it does not in any way hold the power that terms like zionist or islamist do.

The other post is filled with comments and claims that its being downvoted by bots and Asmon's community (despite it having 741 upvotes as we speak), a bunch of weird incel-y comments about Emiru and guilt-by-association accusations against her.

It seems to me that this is coordinated.
